Of the Venetian trio of siblings, Francesca may very well be Emery's favorite. Looking past his inclination for pretty blondes, he delights in her playful and somewhat contrived naivety.
Beatrice hates Verona's guts with an all-encompassing passion. She finds her promiscuous, entitled behavior unbearable to be around... which might have something to do with the fact that Verona persistently finds ways to whip up their feud whenever it gets too stale.
Beatrice thinks she is superior in every way, and delights in dragging her rival through the mud whenever possible.
Will or has flustered him some February.
Will or has been flustered by her on some February (or any other month).
Verona adores the time she gets to spend with Francesca, the pretty younger vampire with an appetite for fun (and a bit of trouble). She finds a certain comfort in their shared Italian heritage and language, and fancies Francesca as something of a confidant.
While Verona would love to really paint the town red with her some day, she still tries to keep things reeled in; her respect for Francesca and her family's opinion definitely subdues her. Verona keeps and eye on her friend and backs her whenever she's able.
Helena thinks Rafael is absolutely FASCINATING. She has a couple million questions she would like to ask him, but considering he doesn't even want to answer the first 50, she's learned to reel herself in. She may not know the 'whys' of his choices and behavior, but she seems to be happy just accepting him regardless.
WHAT'S YOUR NAME?
FUCK YOU RAFAEL
(They've made out against a wall after AT LEAST one concert)
Verona affords a level of trust in Ace that she rarely grants to mortal 'outsiders' of the family. He passed her many tedious, frustrating tests over the years, proving himself to be reliable when it counts. She may still intentionally aggravate and tease him at times, but she makes sure he recognizes that she has respect for him.
She could never voice it to him, but she sees the bond and growing love between Ace and Lars, and the romantic in her is completely devastated by it. Even though it has personally cost her at times, she has found herself protecting the boys and becoming too invested in their story.
Hisashi considers Lars to be a baby vampire, and stands by his habit of "not my business" in regards to reeling him in. He's generally nice to him, finding amusement in some of his shenanigans and frustration in others.
He's as surprised as everyone else when Lars' comment hurts his feelings. He tries to remind himself that Lars is essentially a child when it comes to vampirism but there's still hurt feelings. He almost decides to keep a tiny, baby sized grudge over it and considers getting some tiny revenge on him down the line, but before he can decide there's the arrival of blackmail, and he lets it go completely.
Now he's fine with Lars avoiding him. He's tucked that blackmail away safely so no one will find it. He doesn't have any use for it right now, nor the will to use it against Lars for the foreseeable future. But he also can't bring himself to destroy such a gift from Sati.
Lars likely tries to avoid Hisashi when he can, as his previous social interactions with him have been... less than successful. His current grudge makes him wish Verona would buzz around the blood-selling vampire a little less, but he wouldn't dare tell her why.
