Topaz is a D&D character, and as such goes on MANY zany adventures! I plan to recap all the sessions here, so I can look back on them with excitement and joy in the future.
Charlii has always been one of my more complex characters and has a number of mental and physical conditions. If I were to define it, I would say he suffers with some level of depression and lingering grief over his wife's death, which are aggravated by his cracked soulstone. Logically, I realized that at some point Charlii would need to talk to his Kilden about his medical condition, which would be a serious but important conversation.
This one-shot is a short story explaining the events surrounding the first ever colab between TobyMarzanna and I. It features two of my characters - Phillip Noct and Charlii Alkmin - along with a cannibalistic kild by the name of Gamal. Gamal belongs to TobyMarzanna, and is the leader of a guild of dangerous, cannibalistic kilds. I wouldn't call the story "cannon", but it's a fascinating AU!
After torturing these poor characters for the sake of a Halloween event, I decided to make a true story beat explaining the nightmares the family went through!
When I first created Charlii he was written as a recluse, a man burning both ends of the candle and struggling to stay afloat. This story arc broke him out of his grief and allowed him to heal. Now, he proudly accepts the role of Father and loves his Kilden. They are the light that brings hope and warmth into his world!
This arc was written as a series of short stories accompanied by an art piece each.

These "Scenes" were meant to be physically acted out during D&D roleplay. It was eventually scrapped when the campaign died, but the bones of this story are still good. A sequence of events similar to this will occur sometime during Alexander's development!
