Riojo and Locke met during a quest to retrieve a magic item. Locke was surrounded by monsters, and Riojo worked together with him to drive them away. Ever since, Locke and Riojo have been stuck with each other. Before meeting, Riojo was a timid and reserved individual who had no idea how to socialize with others. But now, Riojo finds it difficult not to laugh every time he and Locke are in a room for more than five minutes. Thanks to Locke, Riojo's out of his shell and finally feels like he can talk to others without feeling like he's from another planet.
Locke senses that there is something special about Riojo. For some reason, this makes Locke comfortable around him when normally he's afraid of his own shadow. When Locke and Riojo are together, Locke is prone to making dirty jokes and trying to rope Riojo into bolder shenanigans.
