Dulcis Anore ‘The Kingdom of Sweets’

Dulcis Anore, or otherwise known the kingdom of sweets, is a land filled predominantly with a mythical race rarely found outside of the kingdom borders, dessert fae. These confectionery-loving folk are birthed from the magic of candy and nature, with the ability to make the most amazing desserts unable to be found elsewhere in the entire world.

Although tourism and trade booms due to their specialized talents, the kingdom lacks much expertise elsewhere, such as in military strength and scholarly research.

Due to this, it is mandatory for residents to undergo combat training from a young age, and the benefits of entering a scholarly or military line of work have been made great.

Geography

Thalore ‘The City of Hope’

Long ago, it was said that a twin pair of angels came from the celestial realm to bless and revitalize the land after the great war between the gods. It was said that Thalore was one of the twelve destinations they sent their blessing within Faeryll, leading to the city’s current prosperity and name. Tourists and pilgrims alike visit this large, bustling city on the daily.

• Totore Elementary: A small elementary school located close to the commercial district. It is often overshadowed by the more prominent Tresdany Elementary, which is supposedly for those that seek ‘a greater foundation for their children’. It is quite peaceful in nature and mostly hosts events/activities such as crafting and gardening. Some students are envious of the large playground of Tresdany.
• Apiar ‘School for Stars’: A large prestigious academy located a few minutes walk away from the main plaza. Its title is not just for show, as this middle school has the highest acceptance rate into the most famous and prestigious academies nearby, including other cities. Its beginner combat training is particularly known, with a wide range of instructors to suit different weapons and styles. As such, despite only being a middle school, getting accepted is quite competitive and requires superior elementary grades, enrichment, bearing and status.
• Elgara Academy: Thalore’s most prestigious academy, located on the left side of the city near the Northern Gate. Despite not outclassing the other more famous academies in nearby cities, Elgara still far surpasses the other high schools in the city. It was founded only a decade ago by the king’s trusted private advisor at the time, Duke Elgara, hence its name. It boasts a particularly large library with hundreds of rarely found magic tomes.
