Thank you everyone who waged the front-lines with me on Artfight 2024! It was lovely and I managed to do 39 attacks this year and received 18 defenses which is amazing! At one point I got into quite an intense revenge chain with my best friend IncomingTransmission who I'm slowly trying to encourage them to post and collect their art onto this site too. I also managed to attack my two friends Mini_Midori and Amber-Lynne which is always fun to see! I tried to do a mass-attack as well, which was another massive first time and I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out but also very puzzled on how to go about uploading it to Toy-house. All in all as the dust settles I'll slowly get to uploading and organizing all the art that I've received from Artfight but given the sheer amount it may take some time.

I've recently taken to trying to upload screenshots and other media for my OCs which isn't necessarily art, mainly for my FFXIV WoL Mielikki as Izayoi comes onto the site and their WoL and Mine are quite strongly intertwined, I also intend to try and attempt FFXIVWrite this year, both as a rewards artist and as a participant. My intention is to try and complete all of the prompts with Mielikki as the main through-point and such I've been detailing her family more, her lore more, and basically attempting to dislodge her from her roots as a roleplay OC into more of a canon-compliant role that I can write about. Of course, still intertwined with Iza, but less rooted in the Light Roleplay scene. If anything, just for the convenience of being able to easily research the lore for background notes. Most of my notes are within the WorldAnvil for my guild, but considering my guild is more or less just me, it's free real estate to play about with. WorldAnvil does have a size limit on the overall amount of images that can be stored on their site however, so I find myself storing the images onto ToyHouse and then linking them over. This is why you may be getting a bit of notification spam out of me, and for that I am sorry, but it must be done.

In other news, I've also been getting into the Lord of the Rings Fandom and I have thoughts about maybe making OCs to roleplay and write fanfiction about, I still want to learn more about the worldbuilding and how everything works within Tolkien's universe first, at least pertaining to Elves, but once I've got a baseline grasp I want to try making Elven OCs for it. I've also started a Lord of the Rings side blog to maybe blog my thoughts and feelings and see how they change, but I'm still dipping my toes into the fandom and experimenting so we'll see.

Anyway, I do hope you all had as much fun as me during Artfight, it truly was a legendary turnout this year and really fun to see despite the drama, and I hope next year will be just as cool!
