Tag directory

Still a wip! But figured I'd make it public for convenience. I should also say aside from this folder being a wip, some characters also don't have fully up to date tags! I'm putting in place many categorization systems lately, and I'm not immune to a lack of motivation to organize nonetheless.

Meta

current faves: precious

seeking art: Art Wanted, Artfight (artfight is a level above art wanted in level of seeking art, and they're also listed as possible characters to attack during artfight)

way obtained: made (created myself), bought (both irl currency and virtual currency), traded (for art or character(s)), gotforfree (freebies, including raffles or games like guess-adopts, wtas and dtas, gifts from friends, etc)

Did I design it?: made (yes), custom (I did either a bit or a lot of the groundwork and making the concept, if it's to a very important degree I list myself as a designer), designed (I redesigned or made some important edits to the design, but I'm not the creator)

designer specific: byfriends(the creator is someone I consider/ed a friend), favdesigners (fav aka favorite!! I really love these), LovedDesigners (not favorite, but I follow them and love their work)

pronouns: he/him, she/her, they/them, neopronouns. The characters that use many pronouns have each relevant tag

activity status: inactive (I don't do much with them currently but I do plan on doing so more at some point, on standstill basically), retired (not planning to use again, but unless other tags contradict it i'm not interested in trading them away), if not tagged with one of these assume i actively think of the character.

wip related: naming (seeking names or unsure on their placeholder one), redesignsoon (upcoming changes relating to the design), newrefsoon (upcoming change as for their reference, to tweak some minor things, make it more aesthetic or change characterisation), outfitsoon (I want to make wardrobe changes), hidden (obviously to most you'll see little characters here, but a few are still listed. Most were created by me, and reasons of why they are hidden vary)

entertaining offers status: uft, tentative, eo, anyone not tagged by those is not up for offers. More info in my rehoming folder

function: comfort, vent. Other functions like story and roleplay have folders instead of tags

Are they single? : I have a "shipped" tag, but it's very open. If they're outright dating I'll state it, I'll also mention when they're major love interests, but sometimes I can like some less commitative shipping, or maybe their lover is still a huge wip and not uploaded yet. I might also sometimes include characters who aren't in a relationship but for who romance is an important story beat. I also include queerplatonic relationships! If it's not stated on their profile, try not to assume why they have this tag/with who they're paired.

Peculiarity: Group profile (many characters in one toyhouse profile)

Design

character type: humanoid, human, anthro, feral, Object (for object-heads and characters that are objects)

Species: aquatic, reptile, cyclop, sphynx, robot (includes cyborgs)

Race: Black, white, asian, latino, mixed
(Humanoids only. Can be race-coded instead of explicit or 100% obvious, I don't count original made-up human races. Not every humanoid oc has a race tagged, because i'm not sure or it's intentionally up in the air. This tag isn't a guess of what race an oc would be, if they're tagged then I draw and/or write them intentionally as such.)

aesthetic:aquatic, food, clown, plant, punk, wildforest (cottagecore, goblincore, they live in a forest, etc)

Other: mascot (i would consider fit to act as a mascot of some sort for me and my projects, mostly vibes)

miscalleneous

Has a song playlist

Has more than 10 artworks (including the reference, but not multiple versions of one artworks or pictures from game models or picrews)

orientation: asexual (include chars on the acespec without being strictly asexual), aromantic (same thing, arospec included), gay (on the homosexual and/or homoromantic spectrum), bipan

For genders, use the pronoun tags listed in Meta! Demigirls and demiboys will have both she/her and they/them, genderfluid will usually have all three, etc etc. I also have a tag for trans chars, these are ftm/mtf or otherwise chars who strongly associates themselves with the trans label
