You know, Melhem always tries to claim he’s nothing like his sibling, but they’re just so similar! Murmur is slightly more personable, sure, but both of them have that standoffish, broody energy where they feel the need to pretend not to like anyone. Must run in the family!
Abby is a good guy. One of the few good heavenlies, and he’s really helped Mel come out of its shell. It’s always a pleasure making fun of Mel with him. I try to keep an ear out for any contracts he might be interested in.
It isn’t every day you see a heavenly actively trying to repair relations in the Peak. Even rarer to see one acknowledge our society’s flaws. It’s a futile task, but one I must say is noble nonetheless. If you have time, I would like to hear more about the compounds synthesized by your plants and… Now that I mention it, I do believe Lee’s told me a bit about you. Seems we aren’t too different after all.
"ah, I believe the chemist and I have quite a few similarities.." -💜- Nymphaea sympathizes greatly with Melhem's situation, and sees what happened to him as proof of how flawed the peak is. She is fully aware of how he uses his chemical talents, and simply doesn't care. She's done the same thing herself, a couple times, after all. Though Melhem's actions are far more extreme than Nymph's low-key approach, they have very similar ideals. If he ever needs company or a place to hide, Nymphs doors are always open.
Yeah, heavenlies are pretentious and self-centered, but Nympaea here’s alright. A client is a client, but not many will give you a mug of coffee along with their payment. Besides, I owe her for those rumors floating around, so let’s just call it even. If you need anything else, you know where to find me.
"ah, the information broker.. how do I know him? don't worry about it." -💜- Nymphaea and Murmur aren't friendly per se, she's still a heavenly after all, but she's paid for his services on multiple occasions. She has her fair share of dirt on people, herself, and will occasionally swap information with him. She'll serve him coffee instead of tea. Her opinion of him is positive neutral.
"ah... Mrs. Dahlia, I admire her dedication to keeping the younger ones happy, some say that she looks scary but myself I couldn't care less I'm not the kindest looking one either... I would definitely trust her with my kid... Fufu maybe one day I'll ask her to babysit"
Hmm, we are quite alike, aren’t we? We are both books with a haunting exterior that betrays the warm stories inside. It’s a pleasure. My door is always open if you need help. As for marriage, it isn’t essential for a fulfilling life. Take it from me.
It’s always a pleasure when Nymphaea stops by… I like sampling the new flavors of tea she beings. I try to have some baked goods on standby to return the gift. Perhaps this encyclopedia of botany would interest you? Or this one on the cultivation of tea in ancient civilizations?
"ah, the librarian. tea and books go quite well together, no?" -💜- Nymphaea doesn't know Odessa too well, but she has a very positive impression of her, due to similar interests. She'll occasionally visit the library to chat and bring new types of tea as gifts.
Ah, the... executioner. What can I even say about them? They took my wings. Normally I'd feel only resentment towards those that further the Peak's disgusting agenda and yet... no angemo fills me with such dread as them. Their obscured face haunts me every day. I was so desperate, so vulnerable that day, and they didn't so much as flinch. Whatever hatred I may feel is far overshadowed by my cowardice in their presence.
Condena leaves a note in cursive.【The courage and fortitude that they lacked inside, always ran from anything that could be labeled as pride. Would rather run, than stand and fight, even though they knew their actions were quite vile. They let their fears consume them, let the world dictate their life, a broken person who could not break free from their fright. — C】
Never though I'd see one of the Peak's pawns so afraid of the so-called lesser fallen. What about us frightens you? Is it the fact that we've nothing left to lose and are willing to do what we must to reach our goals? I have news for you heavenly; your superiors are no different from us sinners. Maybe its them you should fear, especially with your rumored associations.
Oh yeah, I remember him! I was on a contract a while back, just a simple burglary, and this guy almost got me! Luckily that fire is a pretty early warning signal, I saw him coming and booked it with whatever I could carry. That was a pretty fun job! I guess I’ll see you again soon?
