Okay so now we're gonna move on to the siblings. We'll get on to Erwin's father last. Fuck that guy.
Okay so, Erwin's younger sister, Elizabeth Erwin, is four years younger than her. So rn Elizabeth is 17.
Now Gabby doesn't pick favorites... HOWEVER, Elizabeth, or Lizzy for short, is kiiinda the sibling she's bonded the most with. They've always had similar interests, albeit they never were on the same ground about what should be made for dinner or what tv show to put on, but they're very tightly-knit. If Lizzy did something bad and their dad threatened to hurt her, Gabs would take the blame for it. She was the shield for her siblings yk? It wasn't just for Lizzy but it was a very common thing bc she was a clutz and knocked things over a lot and whatnot. Elizabeth and Gabby loved picking flowers together and trying to make flower crowns, even if they never could get it right.
Gabby's favourite memory with Lizzy occurred when she (Gabs) was 17. They had a "sleepover" which was basically they just made a fort on Gabby's bed and slept on it. It was something they did every so often, but this particular time in January was special. The two were staying up all night, taking turns playing tetris and telling cool stories to each other.
At some point in the night, Lizzy asks Gabby, "Do you like boys?" The question catches the older sister by surprise, but she says "Uh, y- I mean yeah, I'd totally kiss one if we um... Yknow, liked each other. Why?" She sets down her little game console and gives Lizzy her full attention, and the younger sis gets a little bit flustered. "I think I like a girl," Elizabeth whispers, worried of judgement. However, judgement doesn't come. Gabby smiles enormously and says, "awww does Lizzy have a crushy wushy on a girl~?" She asks teasingly while rubbing her sisters head to reassure her. "Who is it, Lizzy? C'mon, you can tell me!"
Elizabeth nods. "It's a girl in my biology class, her name is Jasmine, and she's really nice and funny and pretty, and I want her to know I like her but I'm scared she doesn't like me back and-" Gabby follow's along with nods and "mhm's" before moving her hand to Lizzy's shoulder and saying, "Hey, listen, I'm right here! If you need help asking her out, I can help you, sis. You just gotta let me know, yeah?"
"Then I want your help!" Lizzy exclaims with another bounce of her head, and a smile tugging her lips. "I want to go on a date with her!" Gabby laughs and shakes Elizabeth softly. "Alright, alright, easy there, tiger! How about this," She grabs Lizzy's hands. "We go to bed right now, and when we wake up, we can do a little date rehearsal where you can pretend I'm Jasmine, and you're trying to ask me out?"
Giggles and a hug are shared between the two sisters, which are followed by Gabby tucking Elizabeth in and kissing her forehead and saying goodnight, and then, she too retiring for the night.

Ok so basically
Erwin has a mother, father, and three younger siblings.
Erwin's relationship with her mom, whose name is Denise, was especially good before she left to work with the mercs. When she came home in the morning after doing someone's dirty work, she'd find a place to stash the cash she made, and give it to her mom in secret or when her father was so drunk that he didnt even know what was going on. Erwin's favorite memory with her mom happened when she was around eight years old. The two went to Erwin's favorite park and talked about the future and what Erwin wanted to do when she grew up. She told her mom that she wanted to be like her. "Tucking me in every night and telling me bedtime stories!" Denise, with a laugh, reiterated, asking what she wanted to do for a job when she grew up. Erwin looked off in thought, before she turned to her mom and said, "I wanna make people feel good! What job does that?"
Denise smiles. "There's lots of jobs like that, baby," she said. "Doctors and nurses make you feel better inside, therapists make you feel better in your head, and mommies can make you feel better in here," Erwin was poked softly in the chest. She looked to her mom with a cock of her head. "Can I be all three, momma? I wanna help everyone in the world!" Another chuckle leaves Denise as she pulls her baby girl into a side hug, looking off into the distance. "One day, baby, you can be whatever you want, and I'll be here to help you."

Edit: adding a little more to blurb, but Erwin always gave her mom a kiss on the forehead when she was "going to bed" (aka going out to do her job). She loved making cards for her mom and trying to spend what money she could on her for something extra, like going out to eat or buying her a new piece of jewelry❤she loves her momma so much

Ok so yknow, Erwin isnt gonna give all her shit away in a day, its gonna be over prolly like, a week, where shes giving away minor stuff and THEN she starts giving away her sentimental items. I think the first person to notice the odd behavior is Medic which sucks because he definitely knows that despite her happy attitude, Erwin DEFINITELY doesnt want to really talk with Medic (she holds resentment despite her pleasant attitude). Engi and Irina would definitely notice it too, and Scout would deffo know somethings up when his homie just gives him her most valuable possession like... She prolly gives it to him in a box and walks off saying shes busy, and he opens it once shes gone and hes like. "Huh? She wouldn't even let me touch it before. Why's she just givin' it to me?"
I imagine he goes and tells Irina about it and she already knows and they try to find Gabs to intervene with whatever she's thinking, and they eventually find her hanging outside. She's prolly smoking smth and holding her AMT Hardkandi in her dominant hand. Yknow. Normal stuff after your whole world just crashed into oblivion. Hmmm maybe Irina is a bit more logical and confrontational and asks Erwin what shes doing out here, and Scout is definitely more on the emotional side of things and tries to go to Erwin's side but she stands up really fast and moves herself away, not even talking to them about whats up.
Hmmmmhhmmhmm.
Maybe they push her over the edge with their questions and their concerns and she points her gun to Irina and screams at Irina and Scout to "just leave me the fuck alone!" And goes on an entire rant about how she's lost everything she was fighting for and she can't even go get revenge. She says she can't live with herself anymore. Perhaps, Scout tries to interject, but Erwin puts the gun against her head, and then Spy decloaks and yanks Erwin's arm away before she pulls the trigger, knocks her gun from her hand, then tells Irina to go get Medic while Erwin tries to fight Spy off. Mf is literally screaming and crying, begging to just be let go and re-explaining her situation like a broken record. Scout helps Spy by idk, grabbing Erwin by the side and helping her get onto her knees so she doesn't fall over while she's tryna wrangle herself away.
Spy tells Erwin that killing herself will solve nothing, and that giving up her life means her struggle and her family's pain will have all been in vain. Spy aint really emotional, methinks. He's more a logical thinker for sure. He knows that Erwin killing herself will genuinely not solve her problems, and will also force her team to cope with their own loss.
Scout's probably crying with Erwin at this point, begging her to calm down and not to hurt herself. Hmmmm.
Irina comes back with Medic and he puts a little syringe in her arm or her neck or wherever is convenient and effective enough for his immoral ass, and Erwin falls out of consciousness, saying "it's so cold," before she just up and passes out.
Ermm in the next thing i might talk more about Gabrielle's family and her relationships with her siblings and parents ❤ stay tuned for more angst im feeling very angsty tonight
Just to make her entire career MEANINGLESS im gonna kill off her whole family 💖💖 her abusive dad is gonna drive her whole family off a bridge and shes gonna get a call about it from Miss Pauling.
Erwin is gonna cry about it for a day and then seem perfectly fine! Like, even back to being on good terms with Medic and shit despite he was the one who suggested a zombie apocalypse prank to scare her and Scout back into their place😄 shes gonna start giving away her belongings to her teammates, and eventually get to the most sentimental/important stuff to her. Shes gonna give her silver trumpet to Soldier and ask him to play Taps (that one US cadence/bugle call thats played when someone dies) before she says its his to keep, shes gonna give her limited edition copy of Mother 3 that she wouldn't let ANYONE touch, she'll give her sketchbook to Irina, her bracelet collection and plushies to Pyro, her alcohol (ALL OF IT) to Demoman, her hats, pins, and sunglasses will go to Sniper, her poetry books and the poetry she wrote as well will go to Heavy, all of her medical supplies, trinkets, and collections of herbs and spices and dried flowers will go to medic, and she'll give Spy a little note that says "thank you" with straight up, just a blunt and the last, fanciest bottle of alcohol she has lmao
