Needed some place that I can easily link to for my art accounts, info, portfolio etc, but I don't have the time or funds right now to build a whole stand-alone webpage. So this is gonna be my 'portfolio website' indefinitely
Right now I have links & a portfolio/featured works section. The latter is still a wip because I'm not set on how I'll organize it and I still need to upload pics (lots of large files I need to resize)
long story short, I made the folder code because I wanted it to look neat, but after a while I found using it to be tedious. As in it got harder for me to use Toyhouse as a quick ref & easy access for all my OC info since some of my characters ended up buried in folders/different menus. So unless I can make a directory folder that can work for both people browsing & me using TH I think I'll stick to none.
smaller stuff I'll get to later, but I'm tweaking some of the codes I used in my profiles/folders. basically adding shadows to some of my profiles because I think they look coolio & tweaking some of the colors. On the fence about re-doing my main profile too. Could use a diff theme

Just a note: I'll mostly be lurking there & posting some of my earlier 2021 stuff until later this month. Just finished the semester and I'm taking some time off from art because the studio classes I took this year were pretty intense
Basically, I've gotten pretty into coding the past few months & I feel confident enough to share some of my layouts. So at some point either later this month or next month I'm going to list a few codes of mine.
For now I'm keeping all of my layouts F2U and I might be inconsistent with what codes I'll put out since I don't plan on taking this beyond a side thing
btw the first codes I want to list are my folder codes/cards, this layout, and a snippets collection
basically, now that im way more confident with coding I felt it's about time I overhauled my folders.
First off, made a main/directory folder. (here!) Took a while because I wanted it to be sortable by:
- Featured/favorite characters, folders
- Projects/world
- Type (eg: anthro, human/humanoid, feral)
- Tags
Got sidetracked whoops but I went through and did some reorganizing
- Since I barely used them in-universe anyways, I made most of my Pop'n OCs regular OCs.
- Destroyed all my worlds. I use non-character pages for world info now + they were all outdated (or archived elsewhere)
- Redid content warnings to have larger text/more up-front about what's on the page
- Added characters to pics in Shitpost Gallery. It bothered me for too long that they were uncredited (even if they were all my own characters). The original reason I didn't tag them is because of joke art flooding characters' galleries but bc that's not a problem anymore... well, no excuse not to
Pretty much what each tag I use means + links to them. Felt it's time I make a bulletin to sort these.
I'll update this whenever I make or remove tags from my gallery

Main: Favorite OCs & characters I feel stick-out more than others
sona: characters I connect and identify with
gore ok & suggestive ok: I'm ok with that content being drawn of them
robotic: Any character that's either a robot or has robotic traits
joke oc: joke characters/ones I don't take too seriously
adopted: self-explanatory/didn't design them on my own
fan character: tag for all my FCs
FANDOM TAGS (includes both ones I'm in and have left):
WORLD TAGS (Characters that are part of a story or project)
- MHP: "Monster, Hunter, Player" fanfic
- godrealm: anomalous monster-god characters and those relating to them
not an oc: pages that aren't characters or they're a collection of lesser characters
wip: profile is missing important information (eg: info and artwork)
art needed: I need/want to do art for them (usually, give them some sort-of ref)
art wanted: Tag I use for art games to note who I want drawn (I tend to change this before I make a claim)
retired: Catch-all tag for characters I don't use, have scrapped, and/or need a revamp
might revive: retired characters I want to bring back & do a major overhaul for

Summary: Rocket, a robot made to take on her city's monster problem, faces her first mission! She's nervous about it, even with her mentor Cordlass helping. All she needs now is a little bit of faith in herself...

I made a mini-comic last month, finally got around to throwing together a PDF for it to be posted online. It was formatted for a 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" ashcan, but because I can't distribute it physically (no cons, shops closed, small following online, plus I fought a lot with my printer just to make one copy) this is the only way I can get it out there.
Please feel free to give feedback/critique on this (might make a thread looking for it later)! I want to make another, longer comic so feedback is super valuable especially with action scenes and pacing bc I think they're two areas I need to work on more.
Gallery updates:
- Moved a bunch of characters into the retired folder. Pretty much I haven't drawn-up refsheets or thought of anything for them & I can't see myself working on them much in the future
- NOT TAKING OFFERS NOW but... uh, there's a lot of them so whenever I'm in a better state of mind I might list a few for trade/adoption. Mainly bc I'm not attached to their design and never bothered with writing them into any 'lore' (or have any character interactions w/them). They're just hogging space at this point
- Removed Tags for scrapped Ideas I'm not working on & don't plan on returning to. Just to keep things tidy
- Added tag: might revive for OCs in the Retired folder that I'm thinking about bringing back
CW: Mental health issues. Not looking for pity, just wanna be transparent
I'll start off by saying 2020's the worst year of my life for a mix of personal and 'state-of-the-world' reasons. Ended up going AFK from social media & most of the internet because I'm having a difficult time handling things as it is.
Blacking out the sensitive stuff. I've had of suicidal thoughts this year. Especially within the past 2 months I don't think I've gone a day without thinking about 'offing myself and there's a lot of points where I nearly did. Lost the drive to work on anything I was enthusiastic about like Monster, Hunter, Player and Artfight. Based off how things have been going for me, I don't think feeling will go away.
As of right now, I'm only returning to toyhouse to manage & work on OC-related stuff (bc that's the only thing I can motivate myself to do). I have no plans to be active elsewhere right now, and I'd rather not be DM'ed or pinged unless you're a close mutual or friend.
