Young-gi looks up to his older sister, Yu-mi. He's always been in awe of how confident and sociable she was in their youth. While Young-gi appreciates his older sister's attempt to protect him, deep down he is somewhat resentful of her babying of him. Young-gi is eager to step out of his sister's shadow and make a name for himself independent of her, though.
While growing up, the relationship between Yu-mi and Young-gi was distant, but as they've grown, their relationship has grown closer and stronger, bonding more through their modeling work. Yu-mi has always been protective of her shy younger brother, and she's working on stepping back and having confidence in his decision-making. Still, Yu-mi loves her brother and wants nothing more than to see him happy.
Yu-mi gets along very well with Suk-ja. She's come to know her very well because of Suk-ja's close friendship with Yu-mi's younger brother, Young-gi. Though her friendship with Suk-ja is not as close to Suk-ja's relationship with Young-gi, she thinks Suk-ja has been a great influence on her brother and is genuinely a caring, loving person.
