Nexus was once a poor citizen of Embermoor, living off scraps, the forest, and what he could take without anyone noticing. It was a tiring life, yet he survived: and that was good enough. However, after the war began bubbling between Embermoor and Stormreach and the unfortunate feline was drafted, Nexus had enough. It wasn't a life he could live anymore, poor, sickly, and risking his life for a city that turned its back on him. Running away from the comfort of his home, taking any and all supplies he could manage to up his chances for survival, he was chased through the gates by guards and forced to flee much further than he expected.
It was time to grow up. It was time to learn to survive.
