Hey all!

I wanted to keep you guys updated in regards to my next commission opening as there will be a slight chance in the timeframe during which the form will be open for submissions. I originally planned to reopen a bit later than what I'm about to list out, but as of right now, I know I won't be home during that time which forces me to reopen earlier.

Expect the next batch to open on the 12th of May instead! It will also be open a day earlier for my patrons, and if it's the first time you learn that I have a Patreon and would like to see what I have in offer, [check here].

idk what's happening as of late but i've been gaining a lot of new followers continuously for the past few days or so and i have no clue why or what's happening;

if i were to open 1-2 valentine's day-themed slots (either cms or YCH) but the catch would be that you will get your piece done by the end of february the earliest - would anyone still be interested?

i want to do something this year but with my current workload, i (hope and dream tho lol) don't think i will be able to finish on time. i could though! 2 weeks is a lot of time, but i can't foresee it hence why i'm here.

you're just looking at them through a magnifying glass.

recently what's been helping me get over my perfectionism within my writing & worldbuilding is reminding myself how all ideas seem simple at their core. that when i look at any piece of media i'm truly fascinated by and decide to fragmentise it and put it in a few words it will always feel small. that doesn't, however, mean that it's actually small on the surface level. it doesn't mirror the actual importance & size of your ideas.

you hear it from someone who just 2 years ago would actively throw all my ideas into the trash because they "didn't seem serious enough" or didn't "feel badass" enough to me. back then i had nothing (compared to today) lore-wise because everything would end up discarded.

sometimes, it's also a matter of how you execute these ideas in practice. say, you decide that your mc meets their now best friend during detention in school. simple, right? but then you will develop that idea, process it, and improve it. you stop looking at it through the magnifying glass and suddenly it doesn't seem this simple anymore.

the same can be said about any idea you come across. if you have any media that you like, a show, anime, movie, book, webcomic, whatever. if you have an idea that you're mindblown about: try to deconstruct it, how does it make you feel?
