Unaware of what's to come, Zachariah, under the name of "Scott Barlow", has been sent to look over a young woman down on Earth. Taking a rather reserved approach as he hasn't received any negative aura that would alarm him to get down to her, Zachariah is left to do his duties as per usual. Leaving every so often to relax hidden between tree branches on a sunny day. To sit on a bench with a newspaper, pretending to be a bystander without his face seen. Things only change the day she rushes over a busy street. Just received a sudden phone call, urging her to go back. Seconds away from almost unavoidable, he ends up pulling her into his arms, revealing his face for the first time. Mink. Her name is Mink: he pretends to learn for the first time. After that, quietly, he will put a mask on. His name is Scott Barlow. He's an aspiring writer. Jumping from one publishing house to another, chasing his dreams. Reading more than writing, that only she knows.
Before anyone from the administration realises, he goes down more and more often. Helping her with her struggles, be it by listening or cheering her up with a cup of tea. Taking her on walks or listening to stories about her favourite books. Always on the lookout, even when the coast is clear and the aura is as quiet as it's always been. Always prepared, even when he knows there's no need. Always by her side and ready to ensure she's safe. Only time will tell what happens next. All he knows though is her company is better than that of anyone he knows above.
Eurelious could never admit it to Cecil, but he looks up to the man a lot. Quietly admiring his commitment and strength.
No matter what life will throw at the Cherub, he always raises from his knees and becomes stronger.
All of his life, Eurelious seemingly ran away from himself, and Cecil is the complete opposite. He will stand face to face with his problems and challenge them with a smirk on his face. Eurelious will always think highly of him for that, and each time he gets to witness Cecil coming back with more confidence, his respect only grows stronger.
