As the new year has begun and I have started to try and clear out what I have (still bringing some in x,D) I wanted to see if anyone has any tips about handling a large quantity of characters. I know that some of these guys will not get as much attention as some of the ones I would call my main characters. I wanted to see if any of you have any ideas on what I can do to help with managing this for the time being. My goal, is to dwindle down to a very low number, one where I can manage my characters easily and not have a huge pile of them with me.

I've counted my characters with the ones I'd like to keep and it's still a pretty large amount, so that's why I wanted to see if anyone has ideas on how to help with it. Thank you! ;v;

Hey guys, I'm so sorry again for the late responses or if I have not gotten back to you at all about a trade or something. I went out of town this past holiday weekend so I've been a bit out of sorts still. I'll be going out of town again soon, so I will try to settle out trades and such as soon as possible so others aren't kept waiting.

In the mean time, if you wish to note me if it's been more than a week, feel free to do so. I'll also be cleaning up my TH as best I can. I am going to try and purge what I can...as much as I don't wish to do this. I'm going to be pulling myself away from the adopt community once the new year rolls into effect. The reason for this is for well...a lot of reasons. One is money. I really need to be smart about what I am doing. I've been doing much better than I have been thanks to me being smarter about my spending. The second is that I'll be looking into going back to school again, to start work on getting my Master's. The third reason, is because I'm not able to devote time into what I like as before.

I wanted to adopt characters so I could write stories, create pictures, and in some cases, maybe even make commercial usage for them. Sadly, with how my life has been for the past year, I doubt I'll be able to really do much for a long, long time. I'll still be around of course! Just probably not as much as I'd like to be.

I'll be moving a lot of my characters that I'll be purging to my trade account most likely, and make a big announcement about it. Keep in mind, however, I'll be looking primarily for resales. Some I'll only be able to trade due to the creator's rules, but if I can resell, I will. 

That's about it, I hope your guy's November has gone well and that your December will be a good one!

So some good news from this whole thing, I was able to get my OS restored onto my original hard drive. Sadly I lost all of my data, but thankfully the majority of it was already backed up onto another drive. So the only thing I lost was a MYO Photoshop file and a character file it seems.

I'll still be on my hiatus until I can get this issue fully resolved. I'll try my best to reply to people, but if I don't reply, do not panic. I promise to get to you! If it's been more than 3 days, you can go ahead and send me a note as a reminder, thank you <3

So long story short, I suddenly started to have hard drive and OS issues with my computer. I'm currently trying to have my original hard drive reinstall my OS, but it seems that my installation disc might be corrupt. 

So until I get my issues resolved, I'm gonna take a small hiatus. For those who I have not answered to about trades, please note me so I can do my best to respond.

Just wanted to let those who are waiting for a reply back from me for something, I'm not ignoring you, I promise! ;w; I've been so swamped with work and getting ready for a weekend trip that I have not had a good amount of time to really sit and respond to messages. The stress also makes it difficult to respond on a timely basis, so I'm very sorry about the wait.

Just thought it would be good to put out an update and say that my situation was resolved ;v; I know in the end it probably wasn't a huge deal, but things like that tend to make me panic and stress way more than I should. 

I'll probably end up deleting that board and this one soon, thank you all for who commented and gave advice and support. It helped me out a lot and I truly appreciate it ;;

So...I've had someone who has been trying to desperately trade with me one of my heartpuffs. I have been polite and declined each offer because I'm not interested in trading a character that is valued at around $125 for a character that is roughly $20.

They have not let up, to the point that they're commenting on my main dA page about the trade. How I politely refuse at this point? I don't want to be an absolute dick, but I have told them at every single trade I said no. They were interested in two that I was trading away but then just suddenly started to jump to many of the characters I'm not even trading.

I don't wish to block them because they will go after others to ask why they were blocked (trust me..someone else dealt with a similar issue).

I can tell they are young and don't really understand a ton. Any advice at all from you guys? I just wish for them to stop, as they are now trying to offer me art from them that they claim is going to be the same worth (because of the materials they are using...they are not the best artist *cough cough*)

Again, I don't want to be rude T.T but it's making my anxiety climb up so high because I want to get fair offers.

Both of my pages are gonna look a little cluttered as I try to organize and work with what I have to the best of my abilities. I'm still making a lot of decisions on what I'd like to trade/resell and what I would like to keep. My main goal is to weed out characters I cannot use for commerical usage. The reason for this is because I'd like to make prints and such of some of my characters I've adopted. Some of them, which includes Heartpuffs and Lacies, I can only use them for personal usage due to the creator's main rules. This has been on my mind for a long time, as well as doing a lot of cleaning up here too.

While I do feel okay with having a lot of adopts, I am not okay with having so many I can't manage them. Hence why I am gonna be doing a lot of sorting out over the next while. Just stay tuned and hopefully I can get things squared away and people can offer properly ^^

Finally made it! Hopefully now it will be easier to work with things in terms of trades.
