Prodigal
The World can be compared to a scale, regardless of where it tips, will cause an imbalance and chaos will ensue.
...Supposedly there would be something like that. But how come it hasn't happened yet?
Because it is the work of the Prodigal. An organization hides from society in order to balance the scale. They will do anything to maintain the position the world it is now; an excellent balance between good and bad. The Organization most preferably wants to view themselves as a group with good intentions, but if they are not afraid to be viewed as the enemy if it means to regain the balance they want.

ROLE: Protagonist
ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good
SYNOPSIS
Emery is the protagonist of the Prodigal and with her she explores its importance to this universe. However, she serves as a dynamic character when diving into an organization that proves a little too much for her. Though she proves to be little use in the Prodigal as a protege, she is still exposed to possible dangers the Prodigal's opponents. In retaliation brings up Elois, who catches the attention of the Prodigal's Overseer, Grandfather. As Emery has now piqued Grandfather's interest, she begins to realize that she's being watched and protected everywhere she goes.
TRIVIA:
- Elois is not considered another alias, but moreso another person. Her acquaintances and her circle treat Elois much differently than Emery.
- Emery's first job was working at Bakester, owned by Elliot. She earned very little money on the side, but soon began working for Maximille not long after he became her mentor.
- Emery always wears her glasses. Practically blind without them.
- Her outfits consists of a vareity formal to smart casual wear.
Hope
ROLE: Deuteragonist, Love-interest
ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good
SYNOPSIS:
Hope is the connection that brought Emery to the Prodigal. He remains to be Emery's active love interest, and also shares similar feelings for her as well. Though he wished to personally mentor and teach Emery, the Prodigal has made him busy due to the recent events that happened during her mentorship. Hope is worried for Emery since he isn't her mentor, but also the dangers she's gone through while he's been absent. Elois's existence has made Hope's and Emery's relationship become strained.
TRIVIA:
- Hope is already an existing Administration Member before he was introduced.
- Kirisawa is a teacher in his civilian life. However, during the school breaks, the Prodigal has recently required his full attention. Lately, the Prodigal had been sending him to Japan to help the Prodigal settle down the progressive Yakuza control.
- He doesn't speak about it, but he has a strong attachment towards Emery. Others believe Emery to be a little "plain" for Kirisawa, but Hope finds comfort in her. Emery doesn't remember, but Kirisawa has always adored her since his childhood years.
- While Emery is in love with Hope, Elois loathes him. Therefore it's only fair that Kirisawa becomes entirely concerned for Emery since she reappeared after the kidnapping.
Grandfather
ROLE: The Foil
ALIGNMENT: True Neutral
GENERAL:
- Grandfather remains an enigma to the new generation of the Prodigal. The sole origin to the organization, Grandfather is the only individual to decide for the Prodigal. He operates in the dark, controlling both Specialist Agents and Administration Member. His whereabouts are private except for those that work with him directly. Grandfather has very little interest in their newest protege, Emery, but confides in her mentor enough to keep her in the organization. However, since Emery was kidnapped and suddenly reappeared without the Prodigal's support, he was intrigued about the awakening of Elois. Emery has now caught his attention, as she slowly observes even more Prodigal activity around her.
TRIVIA:
- Out of every member in the Prodigal, only Maximille is the only individual that knows Grandfather's name and identity.
- He remains hidden through the entirety of Emery's mentorship. Soon after Emery's officiation as an Administration Member, Grandfather now exposes himself to Emery during a major peak of her progression.
- Grandfather is not only powerful due to his control over both Administration Members and Agents, but he also has an almost endless supply of money in his pocket that he uses for the Prodigal's benefit.
