I remember seeing this inkling with one of those salmonid thingies when I looked back to see where it might've came from, so I guess it must've come from her? I dunno, it was weird but I can't help but wonder why...
The boys at the lab have been tellin' me there's this bootlegger hiding out in Splatsville. They've been searching for someone they could use as a mole so we know where to issue an arrest warrant, and they keep landing on this one Inkling who's seen runnin' around at night with unlabelled boxes. The funny thing is that their eye-witnessess say she smells like toothpaste! I've smelled a lot of new-fangled body sprays in my time with the force, but toothpaste is a whole new one. Lemme tell ya, my wife would be makin' me sleep on the couch if I used toothpaste deodorant!
I'm not normally one to spar with Carbon Rollers, but this guy is far from your average Carbon Roller! I ran into him on Flounder Heights one day, and we have a wicked match against each-other! It did make me realise that I'm a bit one-track with my gameplan, but honestly I like sticking with the path that works to my advantages the best.
I know some folks think I oughta be using a Dynamo Roller given my size, but this dude's got a bigger disparity than me, heh. Makes me wonder how good he'd be without his weapon, he does have a plenty strong handshake after all...
Woah, this guy reminds me a LOT like Turfer! They're both super bubbly and cheery, sporting blue ink, and STRONG. You sure they're not cousins or something, right? Anyways, Xaro mentioned him to be one day at the mall, and now I've GOTTA go see one of his matches! Who knows, maybe I'd even get to wrestle against him one day, haha!
Speaking of, we could probably get Turfer to try out wrestling too. He's not the tallest out there but I'd be stoked to face his strength at full force!
"Splaboom"? Rings a bell, but I'm not quite sure why. And this guy's apparently a higher up on the team, yeah? Takes some strength to be in a position like that. I hear he's quite the scrapper too. Might have to see that through with my own eyes though...

My uncle! He works as a detective for the SPD, and was really my first connection I had when I moved to Splatsville. He's such a tireless lieutenant, and it's incredible how many tough cases he's cracked!
Ah, a family jewel of pride. My nephew tells me all about his adventures and it's so wonderful seeing what he's been doing. He's been makin' so many friends in Splatsville, and I'm sure his parents are just as proud of him as am I. I would invite him to join case investigations but uh, I don't think that's really his wheelhouse.
Killifish sometimes comes along to help with investigations. He's an awfully talented guy, don't get me wrong. I do wish he'd pick up on some of the smaller details at the scene. He's got a habit of parroting what the other investigators say. But I gotta say, he's a genius with tech! My wife's been wanting him to come over so he can fix the TV remote and I just keep forgettin'. One day I'll get around to it.
The good lieutenant's a rising legends in the force. So many key investigations saw justice thanks to his work. I pitch in once in a while when I not in HQ but it's always a good experience to work alongside Octdumbo!
Oh Blitz, he's really cool! His build seemed underwhelming for carrying such a big Roller, but that certainly doesn't stop him from using it! I got to face it head-on a while back, and I was a great experience! I'm always up for a rematch though, never know how much is gonna change between battles, heh!
MJ? He puts up a good fight that's for sure! He once challenged me to a roller 1v1 and you know what, I admire his enthusiasm! ... even if my gold dynamo has gotten a few hits on that regular roller of his, HAH! He's a great opponent, I'll be more than glad to fight him again >:T

It's cute how criminal 'gangs' are now apparently allowed to be just THREE people? Sorry, I already know you know everything about me. But my gang is made up of over 100 members. Now dare I say I think the kid has some talent, some nice qualities I'd like to see in my own gang, but in the end, I know he'll just end up pierced by my whipchor if he ever wanders into the canyon.

One of the legendary Rivalry Twins! I learned all about those two in my courses from years ago. The paparazzi loved Catch in particular because he was so talkative and outspoken in the ring. Rumour has it he longed for a love life too, wonder if he ever found it.

She's quite an odd character. I randomly came across her in Turf War and she immediately came guns a'blazing with her Stamper! It was fun to fight her at least, but normally it takes a bit of riff-raff to get things going! And the weird part is that when she was heading out, she as like a completely different Octoling! She was way more occupied with tidying herself up. Hardly seen such a contrast before, but she leaves one heck of an impact!

They say opposites attract, and it's no less true for Daryl and Ashton! He's a much gentler soul than his boyfriend, and it seems like he's been through a lot of rough stuff too. It's kinda cute seeing them together. Though I can see why he gets a tad worried when Daryl and I have our regular tussles. I can hardly help it though, it's super funny to tease him around Ashton. In a way, I end up being a fearsome dragon to duke it out against Ashton's brave knight, haha!
