iris way is started, we haven’t gotten anywhere into the lore or anything yet, currently characters and just meeting each other and we’re figuring out personalities better, so it’s a great time to join! This is a very loose roleplay, so you won’t need to worry so much about quick replies and things like that!
There’s still a bit of work to do, but it’s good enough to start discussing the roleplay!

Small RP group?
Would you be interested
Would anyone be interested in joining a small and very loose roleplay group? Mainly cat roleplays, (doesn’t necessarily have to be warriors, thought it could be if wanted!) maybe some other types of roleplays in the future, depending on what everyone feels like doing.
im not gonna have much time for hosting next month, but I’ve really been wanting to roleplay and make some new characters, as well as give some neglected characters attention for once.
Heres my idea:
in an old roleplay group of mine we noticed sticking with one roleplay too long can get boring over time If you’ve run out of event ideas, so we directed every so often to change stories. We would create characters, roleplay as them for a few weeks or months, then once we got bored, we would vote on it and decide if we wanted to switch roleplays and start over with new characters, new setting, different threats, etc.. though most of the time, still in the same world. meaning If some people started to miss a character we would either go back to an old roleplay to continue it a little if we came up with an idea to keep it going, or the person would find a way to bring that character into the current roleplay (I did this a few times, i had a character I really liked and I decided she was a traveler that didn’t stay in groups long to explain her reappearing from time to time lol). With this, if you got really invested in a character we could later roleplay their backstory or things like that, which we also did sometimes. (If everyone is up for it)
unless stated otherwise, each roleplay would be set in the same world, so there’s always the possibility of meeting past characters, or finding some traces of them left behind, which can also make for a cool roleplay, or sad if the past characters died and new ones find their home or things they left behind, there’s a lot of interesting possibilities with it. You could also roleplay as one of your character’s kin later on. About 75% of my characters were my first character’s kin, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and so on haha. Sometimes we would even have an old character come back as a ghost or something to speak with a current character.
Theres many benefits to roleplays like this,
Neglected characters can get some use, and even if what you roleplay isn’t apart of their cannon story, your able to figure out more about their personality.
because the roleplay changes often, nobody will miss out on anything. In my old group we went in circles doing romance roleplays with each other’s character’s haha. It also gives everyone a chance to be a villain or other roles like that without there being too many at once.
Over time you’d have roleplayed as multiple characters without being overwhelmed by too many at once.
It would be more like a friend group than a strict roleplay with a lot of rules, nobody would have more of a say over something than anyone else, we could probably make anonymous polls for the bigger choices, like if someone wanted to give their character some sort of power of something like that. You can reply on your own time without being so worried over missing something important, managing it would be a lot easier and not take so much time, and since it probably wouldn’t be a clan roleplay, when your too busy for long periods of time you can always say your character is out on an adventure or my personal favorite, they were kidnapped… haha..

This isn’t finished, and knowing me it never will be, (haha) but I’m still super proud of it so I wanted to share it!
I started making the animation Monday, all I wanted to animate to was the part at 0:28 and another part some time after that but I figured it’d look better if I add some more onto it so I did, with absolutely no idea what to animate on any of this parts. I think it looks cool though, so it was worth it!

Would anyone be interested if I made a world to talk about warriors? And for any warriors related things like oc’s art, maps, theories, au’s, etc..

(sorry for not replying to things, I was away at a “Camp” but I’m back now! I’ll be replying to things slowly though!)
I’m always wondering how to know if I’m friends with someone/if they consider me a friend, but it’s so weird to ask.. I’ve been planning to post Adoptables but let friends choose some for free before posting them, but then I’m wondering how I would know who I can message about it. But if I’m just like “hi friend thats definitely my friend“ it’s weird, and asking them also seems weird, because I know I would feel very bad if someone messaged me asking if we were friends, but I didn’t really feel like we were friends, but it would sound so rude to be like “nah we’re not friends haha”. But also, I’ve been in situations where someone who I’ve talked to only once or twice is like “my good friend Mossfeather 😎😉💅✨” in their posts and im just thinking “whaaaaat???” So I don’t wanna just call someone my friend 🤷♀️
theres also been situations I post Adoptables free for friends and people who I don’t know well, who have only commented on one or two posts of mine (or simply just followed me) are like “yeah we’re friends! free adopt?? 🌝” so I don’t know what to do
I’m also a bit unsure of if I should include people who I used to know but haven’t spoken with in several years. 🤷♀️
After trying to join Artfight and backing out last second for like three years, i finally decided to join his year! (Hopefully)
I was getting ready to submit my characters when I realized.. all their reference sheet art is terrible. :’) It hasn’t even been a full year, yet looks so old, especially compared to what I can do now. Now I’m trying to hurry and get as many redrawn as I can, (especially because I’m going out of town in a few days and not bringing my iPad and I won’t be back for several days) and updating a few things I want changed. I’ve finished redrawing three characters and I’m really proud of how much I’ve improved!! Especially with Wolfstrike! A super important design trait of hers was her long muzzle and tall pointed ears, yet in my old art I couldn’t even seem to get that right 🤦♀️ but!! new one looks so good and I’m really happy with how it turned out!!
also, I don’t understand why Wolfstrike has like an evil smile because she’s more 👿 than 😈 most of the time?
next I’m gonna work on Lionleaf, i never even liked her art to begin with, but now looking at it it’s so terrible it makes me gag 😭 (I deleted it so nobody else will see it hahahaha)
BUT LOOK AT THE IMPROVEMENT IM SO PROUDD
For nearly two months now I’ve noticed a problem with my procreate, any time I edit my drawing’s size or angle even just the tiniest bit, it destroys the quality and makes everything super pixel-y. Basically anytime I use the lasso tool (idk if that’s what it’s called on procreate tbh lol) it messes up the art.
my sister has procreate and this doesn’t happen to her, no matter how much she edits her drawing with the tool, and this has only started happening to me recently, it never did this in the past. I don’t think it’s the screen size or brush because I was trying to figure out the problem and used a lot of different brushes and screen sizes, nothing helps.
when my procreate needed an update and I updated it, it actually fixed!! for about an hour, then it went back to messing up again.
It’s really annoying because once I’m almost finished with a drawing if i notice the head is too big or the eyes are too small or anything, I have to redraw that whole bit, even on my recent art of Thornstrike I ended up (after the artpiece was colored, shaded, etc..) having to redraw the entire head including shading and everything because it looked too big to me.
Is this normal for procreate? I thought it started because an update or something until I knew my sister’s doesn’t do this, so now I’m unsure.
