xD i think you're the first person i've seen in ten years who knows what it is, it's a pretty obscure one. it was the first anime i ever watched back in 2009 (i was in 6th grade,,, watching it on youtube with fansubs and each episode broken into like 6 parts each,,,) and the main reason i watched it was because the opening theme was a BOP. i've not seen it since and while it's not really something i'd watch today, it still holds a special place in my heart (Ā“ć»Ļć»`) it's an incredibly rare day to see it mentioned somewhere, but i still get a little nostalgic when those days happen. how'd you find out about it?
When i was around 7 or 8 maybe, I had a copy of dance dance revolution supernova 2, and one of the playable songs in the game was Babys tears, which is the opening to the Skygirls OVA. So a while ago I booted up DDRS2 for nostalgia sake and played the song again. I figured out it was from skygirls after looking it up and I decided to watch it. It wasnt fantastic or anything, I thought it was p cute though, and i thought the animation was pretty good. Its impossible to find the show in a good resolution though lol
DDRS2 IS WHERE I FOUND OUT ABOUT IT TOO ASDFKLJKLSJDF babys tears was one of my favorite songs to play sky girls was never licensed to be aired or dubbed anywhere and it's super old so that's not a surprise u . u back in the day i don't even think i saw all the episodes, a third of them around the middle were missing i think? i just remember the later episodes being hard to follow as a result. i agree about the animation though, i remember there being some really beautiful shots in that anime.
