Roman Cities ✯✯✯
My OCs based (mostly) off of Roman cities! Pretty much my magnum opus, I love them all to death and even if their stories don't make perfect sense I'm very proud of their dynamics. Rome is basically their father but it's definitely not an ordinary family. Most of them are fairly isolated but they do get to visit malls in other places from time to time just to have some fun and buy new stuff.
Some notes on their "species" ig:
They all have blood that matches a color somewhere on their design OR in rare cases they have dark gray blood. Pompeii is currently the only example of this.
Their skin crumbles like stone instead of being cut, although the actual texture is still the same.
Magic users (such as Ephesus) usually have some kind of floating wings or tail kind of thing. The size and detail of these roughly shows the amount of magic the user has. Magic users are fairly uncommon (about 10-20% of cities) but not a super rare sight, although magic users are frowned upon by some.
Not everything about them has to be based on the city they're based on, but trying to include references is a good idea.
They can be born males, females, or nonbinary (although being born nonbinary is a little uncommon). Generally they don't reproduce as they are mostly ageless, but they can fall in love (although mine don't because they're all kinda a family lol). They generally don't experience dysphoria or mental illnesses unless induced by some event (ex Ephesus's anxiety) so their genders are pretty set in stone
Landmarks are a special case and very rare (Vesuvius is currently the only known one). Important buildings sometimes take the form of animals (ex London's dog, Ben) but they're usually very connected to their corresponding city.
Please do not make your own Roman City OC based off of the rules of mine, or anything too close to mine. They are very personal to me. You may of course make characters based off of Roman cities, but use your own ideas and not mine.
