Ethrell

A vast fantasy world overflowing with magic. Great cities are built on remnants of dead gods and even grander civiliztions fall at the whims of time and chance. What begins must end only to begin again, the cycle spins endlessly. And at the center of it all, a knight faces the one she is fated to kill. A god sees the one that she loves. A mortal, the one who will destroy her. A choice is made, as it has been made before and will be made again over and over. One day that choice will bring the cycle to an stop.

It is not yet that day. The stories we follow in this world are set in two different ages:

The old world before the war of the gods where the queen of the night still rules the gods from her silver tower. The pheonix lord is establishing a city that will become a legend, the empire of frost is leading it's armies on a charge that seems unstoppable, a young princess is about to have everything she knows to expect turned on it's head, and a child makes an unexpected friend.

The new world where the sun god reigns supreme. The knight who will kill her is yet to learn her fate, a woman makes a deal with death, a group of fae concoct a scheme as they watch a mortal wander their lands, defenseless, the city of fire finds itself worshiping ashes, and as it always is - a child makes an unexpected friend.
