Gordaina

Located on the southern coast of the Acanthus continent, nestled between Theralis and Cassia.

Once known for its strongholds and dedicated bannermen, Gordaina has become overrun by corrupted demons from Hellas. A decade ago, a sudden cataclysm shook the ground throughout Gordaina and took its strongholds by storm. Many towns and villages were destroyed by the shake, if not by waves of pillagers and looters, and the darkness surrounding the strongholds has tainted the land around it considerably.

Gordaina: The Capital City, Astrea
The capital city, Astrea, suffered minimal damage and had to open its doors to an influx of refugees from the destroyed settlements. The city is barely managing to survive, trying to convince traders and ships that it's safe to do business, as well as find asylum for the displaced residents.

Gordaina: Hope's Bastion
Hope's Bastion, one of the finest fortresses in the country, was overtaken by vines of darkness. It is unclear if anyone survived the attack without corruption, and it is nigh impossible to get close without being affected by the dark magic. The becaon of black energy can be seen from the capital, and it is the first instance of demonic trouble brewing in the north.
