Former partner. Reunited with in Alanaris; knew her only by voice than by looks, and after divulging some pieces of her past at her behest that seemed to elude her, parted ways with. Still loved and cared for, will always welcome Hälla into her company, but is respectful of the distance she's placed. In any case, to know she's alive and still kicking is enough to put her mind at (relative) ease. Would still defend viciously and violently if circumstances ever called for it.
All great things must be set free.
"And you showed me that my life was a vast, glowing, empty page; full of space for me to write."
Righteousness.
Adopted the boy when she was barely an adult herself, and alongside their small family group, raised him as her own. Fletcher is an infinite source of pride, and she loves him unconditionally, despite the bumps in the road of their journey.
Presently has no recollection of.
Adoptive mother. After his memory was wiped clean and he had no recollection of where he'd come from, she was the first face that made herself known to him in a forest full of dangers. Among changes and life's existential hardships, she has and always will be a face among the fog and a stalwart presence through hardy winds. She acts as a foundation and a reminder that golden hearts and impenetrable defenses can come from even those you don't expect; that true strength lies in not outward appearance, but in one's own action and belief.
Essence.
Firstborn son, and infinitely treasured. A vital part of her existence and an unquestioning presence through the years, no matter the time or distance that might cleave them apart.
Presently has no recollection of.
Mother. Despite their family's trials and tribulations in life, Hälla has been more than a mother to him, but a mentor and confidante as well. Though he often didn't seek out his mother's advice so as not to inconvenience her with his own separate troubles, knew that he had her support and love through anything. Defensive and protective of through all the atrocities she's been through and life has thrown at her. Wants nothing but her happiness and freedom, for he could never imagine her in a cage, gilded or otherwise. Believes his mother to be one of the most thick-skinned, tough individuals he has ever known, and endlessly proud of the strength he has seen tested time and time again. She is an unyielding pillar of support and reliability, and knows that she will forever be home to him, no matter time or distance apart. Dove.
Horizon.
(Bae). A bond forged in the desert of Solterra, the Sovereign has been her transient companion through the many worlds they've traversed in so short a time. They are bound in soul and mortality, equal parts blessed and cursed to share eternity together. Already, they have looked the fire in the eye together; already, they have watched chaos unfurl and charged headfirst into safety, never leaving the other behind.
And she finds, world after world, that she is happier than she would have ever believed to have him at her side.
Recovery — the Οχιά. An unexpected, self-reliant soul who he helped escape from the depths of an ancient tomb. She is as fiery and dangerous as the Solterran desert she was reborn from. Yet he would have her no other way. Through ghosts they have traveled, falling from one place to another in a never-ending loop; and through these worlds their souls have bound themselves to one other. Despite nothing being permanent he knows that she will remain, and he is far from bothered by such an outcome. For his life has been long and lonely, but with her the days are shorter and the nights are brighter.
A beloved friend and a lifelong sister. The tenacity of their bond weathers all distance and trial. The platonic mother of their child, Aehra.
Näcae'dor is more friend than caretaker, no matter her role within their household. A precious friend and confidant, the Nightblossom has filled the gap of sisterhoods long lost. Whatever boundaries the other woman might perceive, they are nonexistent to the Opal - who welcomes her into home, hearth, and table. Cherished.
Serves under Liathe as caretaker to her children, though has never thought of this as a chore or job but as her own privilege. Certain not to pass any boundaries, and is normally quite at home with the dragoness' nature and mannerisms. Will protect and give her priority day or night, and generally views her with a deep sense of kinship. Lidalia'laüne is more than her Queen, but one of her closest friends and dearest confidantes.
Unknown to Aelin, Näcae'dor is a precious friend to her blood family, entrusted with tasks beyond the Fair's understanding. She possesses no recollection of her, despite having known her as a toddler.
The Lost Light. Knew the child only briefly until she was stolen. Feels a deep failure when she thinks about her, and can only hope that Leovys' venture to find her has not led him astray. Hopes and prays every night that she may still be alive, wherever she is, and prospering in any way she can.
Daughter.
Her opaline sea.
Fate — her creator-mother is a being of myth and wonder. Bound by blood, Aehra looks to the Fair with reverence. Loved unconditionally.
Their love was like a phoenix, born from the ashes of their lives, radiant and new. It waxed and it waned but when it was reborn, it was not the same. What they'd shared had been real and true, but the words of their epilogue were written in separates tomes, their tales taking separate paths.
A beloved salvation left behind on the shores of D'qara in her search to find her broken self. Separated from him by things beyond either of them, the Prince remains at the forefront of her mind, and never will she forget how it feels to look him in the eye and know, if nothing else, she is safe.
A lifelong dream of belonging fulfilled upon the shores of a fallen city. Her father, her teacher.
the first he called daughter. darkness tore them apart and he can only hope that fate will bring them back together.
Ex-lover and the father of her miscarried son. Cared for deeply, but never returned his romantic feelings. Once, ruled an island alongside him. A dear and trusted friend, no matter the remorse-incited wall she's built between them.
Former lover. Clarity.
