Refers to her as "Spooky Bitch" in his logbook. His tone is very different from Nimue's and I'm very gradually perfecting the art of switching from her to him and back again until I inevitably end up slipping Ileandra's accent in there somehow. SHE'S NOT EVEN A CAMEO NPC IN THIS GAME. FUCKING PALADIN MOM OUT HERE TRYING TO MOM IT UP WITH BIG TIDDY GOTH MOM AND LITTLE ANGY DISASTER MOM-IN-TRAINING.
Exists as a cameo NPC in the Circle of Pyros campaign. I have had to play both of these bastards in the same scene, at the same time, and have on more than one occasion had to have a direct conversation with myself. It's given me a whole new way to appreciate my DMs.
An egomaniac and rapist. Enough said.
The man who bewitched his wife away from him and murdered the child he'd put in her. A shameless homewrecker with a death wish Argus would happily fulfill given the chance.
She trusted him with her health, well-being, and life. He only ever cared for himself and his legacy. Their marriage was over the day she found out how much he'd been taking advantage of her. What more is there to say?
Legally still his wife. She promised him loyalty when they married, yet she ran off with a dirty hermit who poisoned their unborn child. He's willing to take her back and allow her to mother his future children--but first she has to come to her senses.
Her nephew, though she'd never known him well. He seemed nice enough until she found out he'd been lying about her advice and predictions to manipulate others in his favor. She's sure there's still good in him, though...
His aunt and a powerful oracle. He takes her advice into account, but not always 100% of it, and frankly he sees no problem with that. She's frustrating now that she thinks he's a liar and won't help him get rid of Sigil or reunite with Damaris. He tries to talk her around it, but she's too suspicious to fall for it on most visits.
Another failed attempt to recreate Adair's species since she sorta fucked everything up reproduction-wise when she made an unholy pact to save her dying people and blah blah blah it's not important. But! He carries on a great deal of her people's DNA. Mostly hers. He's basically Adair 2.0. She didn't really raise him, though, so he's like...her son? But not??? It's weird.
His...mom? Kind of???
Mag is one of the good ones. She's not freaked out by Adair's...inconsistencies...which makes her *actual* friendship material. People like that are hard to come by. Usually Adair has to cut her losses and run before her friends realize something is wrong. Without that being a problem, Ada has had decades to spend with Magdala. She's seen her start her career, forge lifelong friendships, sow the wild seeds of youth, get pregnant, start a family, get older, see her kid graduate and start her own career, forge her own lifelong friendships, retire....get older.... In causing the other to truly feel her own mortality (or lack thereof), these two are evenly matched.
Adair is unlike any other creature Magdala has ever met. She seems to pop in and out of existence in unlikely places, never ages, and knows more about the workings of time, space, matter, and existence in general than anyone has any right to know. But Mag thinks that's pretty cool and hasn't bothered to pry. At least, not *too* much. She met Ada on her first ship assignment and has had her as a member of her own crew several times throughout her career. She counts her as one of her oldest friends, even if it is a little weird knowing she'll probably be around for lifetimes after she's gone.
