Anyway, happy anniversary Bien <3 To this day, probably the best thing that came from my head. I know not many people stick with their fursonas from back then so it's nice that we've managed to make it work so far! They're so intertwined with my brain, and it feels nice that they mesh so well with me and my innerworld. It has been a blast to draw them again in recent days. I'm glad I feel at liberty to play around with how I draw them and not stick to things as rigidly as I once did. You can do whatever you want forever and I intend to follow that mantra to my grave when it comes to this. Anyway, the character ever to me. I know that when Bienie was surpassed on Toyhouse in image count, a bunch of people messaged me about it, but it did not matter because I got them and they got me and they are My Little Guy.

Love that I type this without anything to say. I don't normally socialize on Toyhouse, but I do have a tab of it open pretty much every time I'm at a computer. This truly is just The Looking At Images site for me.

How have you all been? Good New Year? Any resolutions? I pretty much made a whole action plan, but there are a few specific things I hope to accomplsih this year. We'll see how they go. I miss drawing, but that missing ultimately doesn't result in the act of sitting down to draw. I'm going to see what comes my way this year, art-wise. I did get into crochet! Wearing a scarf I crocheted as I type this. Very satisfying to hold a physical product in my hands. I hope that is something I keep building on! I moved out last summer, and keeping occupied has so far been a lifesaver for me. I'm learning a lot about what it means for me to feel fulfilled in life. It's a work in progress.

Finally found an organisation of my characters I feel happy with. Rest assured that they still live rent-free in my mind plenty, haha.

- I changed my username!
SpitfiresOnIce -> Vuurstern

- Vuur stern = literally "fire tern". I wanted a name related to terns (seabirds), and the Dutch word for lighthouse is vuurtoren (fire tower) so I mashed the words tower and tern together and pretended it worked as a pun. Figured the fire part made a nice reference to my old user

- Also Vuurster is the Dutch name for Firestar and that wasn't exactly the intention of this name however I've decided to lean into it. My old name had Sonic in it so this is just my life now

- As for why, I came up with the name SpitfiresOnIce as a 14 year old who didn't speak English well and it simply felt time for a change. Plus changing my personal account names made me really happy about changing things up.

- Feel free to still call me Anders or Bienie by the way! I'm just changing my user, not the names I go by.

Figured I should make a post here, too.

It seems someone has been using Bienie as their own character and commission art of them. This happened a while ago, it's happening again now, and they're currently doing it on Instagram as well.
I do not use Instagram. If you see someone using Bienie on there, that is not me.

All I ask is that
- If you see someone commissioning art of Bienie, and they're not a friend of mine or anything, don't accept the commission, and if you see someone else doing it, tell the person they're commissioning that the character is stolen.
- If you see art of Bienie that was commissioned by this person, especially on Instagram, by any chance, could you send the image to me? It's... really weird to have art of them floating around that I don't know of. I'd really prefer to know about it and see the art pieces in question. That's my character. I want to see what's being drawn of them. I know this image exists, for example, but I don't know the artist or what the full image is. If anyone could help me find the art that exists that I didn't commission, that would be hugely appreciated.
