Min-Set appreciates the fact that Shirley also has no desire to put up with her coworker's nonsense, but that aside, Min has developed a level of respect for Shirley as a person; her caring heart is one that Min hopes will never come back to bite her.

The two of them finally had a decent conversation at the Harvest Festival where Shirley got in some literal sword play thanks to Sandalphon's teachings. Maybe she might have a future in fencing or sword fighting and she just doesn't know it yet! But swordsmanship and games aside, Sandalphon can emphasize with the fact that of all of the people in their party, Shirley is the one who is most concerned with others wellbeings over her own, something that he is guilty of himself.
By far the party member that Shirley worries about the most. When she first met Seung, one of the first things he told her was about his bad eating habits, after all. But hey, it's been several months, and things have changed! Shirley has enjoyed nothing more than seeing Seung grow as a person, from his skill as a Pokemon Trainer to his change in position. She can recognize a shining star when she sees one, and knows that Seung-Jin Moon is brimming with potential.
Seung-Jin at first was freakout by Shirley's openness and friendliness but grew close to her the fastest. He does worry about her, knowing that despite her size and strength that she has a fragile heart. He wants to be strong enough to be able to help her and comfort her as she does for everyone. He relies on her, and hopes one day he can also be someone she can rely on as well.
Traveling with Shirley, Cache sees her as a comforting, kind figure that gives everyone the benefit of the doubt regardless of who they are. Such a warm presence is something Cache is unfamiliar with, often feeling like Shirley seems to go well out of her way to be caring and generous unlike anyone Cache knows. Maybe it's all fake, but maybe for a little longer....Cache can feel the warmth of Shirley-May's sunshine.
Shirley believes Cache to be her darlin' little friend! Shirley admires Cache's ability to stick to her own guns, no matter the circumstances. She loves her power, fashion, and mannerisms to the core, and aspires to be more like her! She knows Cache has kind of hard time speaking during tender moments, but that's fine. Through her actions, Shirley can tell that Cache loves the party as much as they love her.
Mel doesn't think she's met anyone as nice and sweet as Shirley before, but then again, she doesn't think anyone could be as nice or sweet as Shirley-May Sunshine. She admires Shirley's ability to defuse any conflict and make friends with just about anyone, including Pokemon, and thinks she always knows just what to do or say to cheer someone up. Admittedly, it's a trait Mel hopes will rub off on her a bit.
To Mel, Shirley is the glue that's holding the party together; while they would have probably been able to stay a team if they'd never met her, Mel is fairly confident that they've become this tight-knit because they've had the Pokemon Breeder with them and supporting them every step of the way.
Mel is admittedly a bit worried about Shirley going into this conspiracy and encountering who knows what horrors the Goetia Foundation have cooked up, but she trusts in her friend to be able to handle all of it and have all of their friends' backs.

Wyatt firmly believes that Shirley is exactly the kind of person that the world desperately needs right now. He believes her naivety is not a flaw, rather its a strength because it leads her to believe that the world is worth saving. The two of them seem to have been close friends prior to their official meeting with the party. It seems that the Harvest Festival party only brought them closer together as Shirley once again confided her feelings in Wyatt, it's clear that Wyatt cares deeply about Shirley now and wants her to know that her feelings are never ones to be discarded in favor of shoving them deep down and staying quiet. Even at times when Shirley seems unsure about herself or the way things are going, Wyatt hopes that she'll remember that if she ever needs to take a break, she's always got a place back home in Cottat town.
Now that Wyatt and Shirley have reached level 8, it's entirely possible that within the future, something might come of this... But who can say.
[Rank 9: ⅓]
Now that the two of them are romantically involved with one another, it almost feels like a dream, the kind of fairy tale story that would be shared as the pinnacle of love. They're definitely on their way there... Wyatt seems to be very interested in the kinds of stories that Shirley's been telling as of late.
Shirley sees Wyatt as her childhood friend, and the main inspiration for her continuing on her journey. She's doing her best to not only take his words to heart, but give some of her own! She firmly believes Wyatt's one of the biggest sweethearts she knows, and she thinks he ought to have more confidence in himself, his work, and his hobbies! But in truth, Shirley worries about Wyatt more than anything else. As much as she wants to believe he'll be safe and sound in Cottat Town, she worries her own work with the NPD may jeopardize him and his family. Not that she can tell him.

Looks up to Shirley (literally!), and promises that he's going to protect her with his amazing ninja skills. That aside, Benny thinks that she's really cool for going out into the world and realizing her dreams. He hopes to do the same some day. Shirley is basically Benny's favorite person in the entire world (Next to Wyatt of course). Now that she and Wyatt are hanging out more that means by association Benny is also hanging out with Shirley more and he couldn't be happier.
Fiona's father. Fiona's the light of his life and the apple of his eye. He did all he possibly could to keep a roof over her head and clothes on her back after leaving the Iceborne Mercenaries, and eventually made it to a village nearby Novis Academia and built a home there. He avoided telling Fiona about her mother all her life, not wanting her to hold a grudge against her. He feels guilty about keeping that secret to this day.
Tyler's daughter. She has vague memories of living with the Iceborne Mercenaries, but everything's faint. Her first coherent memories are her travelling with her father through Visiva. It wasn't easy, and they were constantly tied for money, but they eventually made it to a village nearby Novis Academia. Since then, Fiona's always had dreams of finding her mother and re-uniting her parents, since Tyler always spoke highly of Alena. That is, until she found out the truth.
Alena's ex-husband. They made a spectacular fighting duo, but constantly disagreed on methods. Tyler's distaste for mercenary work only grew as time went on, thinking Alena's methods of fighting to be far too cruel. He thought things would calm down after the birth of their child, but about a year later, Alena expressed she wanted to give the child up for adoption. She gave him an ultimatum; saying she needed to choose their child, or choose her along with the rest of the mercenaries, and Tyler made his choice to leave.
Tyler's ex-wife. They made a spectacular fighting duo, but constantly disagreed on methods. Alena always thought Tyler got softer and softer, until she was no longer the man she loved anymore. She thought she could whittle him down and change him once she gave their child up for adoption, and they could live the mercenary lives they were meant for. But instead of choosing his family of several years and loving wife, he chose to leave instead.
Gaston's loving husband. He's extremely grateful to Gaston for standing by his side for all these years, as well as accepting not only him, but Fiona into his heart. Being around Gaston so long has quelled his paranoia quite a bit, and allowed him to feel safe again.
Tyler's loving husband. Due to also coming from a past full of violence, understanding Tyler and his struggle to lead a new life with his daughter comes naturally to him. Being around Tyler so long has allowed him to wear his heart on his sleeve once more.
