Set in the future in an alternate universe where technology in the late 1940s advanced exponentially. Enter the Android Age, where humanoid robots are a norm and suffering is supposedly obsolete among the ultra-elite. Society is led by The Council, a group of corporate superpowers.

When Cynthanna Steel is accused of slowly killing Edward Steel- the Council's head chairman and her cyborg husband- Cynthanna seeks out the Council's own allusive head roboticist for advice. But perhaps... there was a reason why he went into hiding in the first place.
