Backstory

Cynthanna was born into a family constantly on the verge of losing their wealth. Due to the Council's increasing influence on society, class ranks were constantly disappearing and shifting. Most families from "old" money had their funds sucked dry. Ever since then, Cynthanna's family had been constantly on the edge of the poverty line. When Cynthanna, the eldest daughter of the family, turned 18, she was forced to marry Eadward Steel, the leader of the Council- thus ending decades of financial troubles. However, this came at the price of Cynthanna's personal freedom. Prior to her arranged marriage, Cynthanna planned to become a roboticist herself. Once she became of age though, her family pulled her out of school to marry her off in hopes of saving their own skin.

As she grew older, Cynthanna never lost her disdain for her husband, but she stopped being so hostile.

To cope with her loneliness and lack of freedom, Cynthanna took up intellectual hobbies and swore to never stop learning, no matter how trapped she was. The only person she grew to trust was her maidservant Aisabelle, who, overtime, developed into her secret lover.

One day, Steel grew ill. Though this was most likely due to his robotic components being outdated, rumors started to spread that Cynthanna was killing him slowly. To combat this, Cynthanna started looking for the person she thought could help fix him: Robert Chrome. Unfortunately, Robert shut himself in his room and cut off contact, but Cynthanna is hoping to change that.
