I want this site to live this time!!!!! I really miss just having a plain ol art gallery site!! (I say 'plain' but the customization stuff so far is pretty cute and fun!) Been slow uploading backlog stuff but I'd like to make it something I check in on now and then. Feel free to share yours!!
I wanted to post a brief update on owed art progress for anyone who is waiting on art trades/commissions from me. I was feeling sick for a few weeks, which has been worse on me lately after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, then I got a likely strep infection and was in bed with a high fever for a few days. I'm still not at 100%.
I just wanted to be transparent - I know some of my art trades, while more casual, have been pending for longer, so I want to focus on completing those when I can. Commissioners should still expect an ETA of ~1 month, possibly a little more or less, unless I reach out and mention otherwise. Still, I wanted to let people know the situation. I don't like to force work when I'm not feeling well, so I'm going to take a few more days off before I switch my focus to art again.
After I clear my current to-do list, I think I've decided I need a break for a bit so I can recharge. I'm also dealing with managing the health of a family member who may need surgery some time in April, so that's something that's been on my mind. But like I said, I don't think it will massively affect deadlines at this time. Thank you for your patience! Also, I'm a little late, but happy Pokemon Day...
I wanted to make a quick edit to add that my trello will still have my updated progress and my current projections for when I will finish/soft deadlines. I'm trying to stick to them where I can!

A follow would help me out if you have an account! Might try it out in the future, and my other stuff will gradually be added, but for now I'm still working on my current queue. And yes, prices may increase a little going forward as I see what works for me, but I'm considering adding a PWYW option too. Just have to settle on a rate and what I could offer - the thing about PWYW/grab bag comms is I'm always a bit worried about what expectations people might have haha.

TL;DR if you have been reading my bulletins you will know... I have been having some health issues. Rest assured I am at least up & alert (for the most part) again, so I can comfortably take on some commissions. They will be a little simpler than usual this time, and as always I'll just take on a few slots to start so they hopefully don't take too long!
Doing chibis for now! Different, smaller, squishier style than usual. Aiming for a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks max. Minimal/no WIPs but small revisions are available after completion (color correction, adding a marking I missed, etc - no big redraws). Note that these are done on a small canvas - about 300 x 500 pixels for a single character though it may be a bit bigger depending on character/pose/etc.
$16 for one / $30 for a couple/interaction, 3 slots. Limit of 2 characters/chibis per slot right now please. :) I am fine with couple/interaction art and I can draw fanart (there are some fandoms or characters I would prefer not to draw but I will not be rude if you ask about anything you're not sure of, most things should be fine)!

*** Please note: I try to maintain a character's key features, body shape, etc when drawing - but due to the limitations of this style, they may look rounder or have some parts simplified or omitted for visual clarity. It's cutesy. I don't mind drawing big men even, I love old men... but bear it in mind. They will look cute!!

that's my post :) i will spare you the rambly health stuff today since i don't have much to update about it anyway. hopefully i will get my procedure next week and i can start addressing the root cause of my discomfort (?) i'm still on a liquid/soft foods diet until then :(
i have been so preoccupied with healthcare stuff though i didn't really know what to ask for, so questions for the void: are there any good handheld games you like? on switch. i play a lot in bed when i can't do anything else. i already have the obvious ones like zelda and pokemon, i was thinking maybe i will play the persona ports because i like to make myself suffer i dunno. i wish they would put the DS pokes on e-shop or somethign!! okay that's my soapbox

Complexity fees may apply (complex for me usually involves a lot of colors/patterns or layers that take me longer to render).

1 drawing typically = 1 slot but it might depend a little based on commission type(s)!
I have a trello here that I try to keep updated as I work/complete commissions, so feel free to look there for your position in queue if you'd like.
These may take about a month to complete, up to ~2 months at the most. I try to have these done sooner, but life's been a little up and down so I appreciate some patience! I will check in with a sketch unless you don't want me to/don't care, but after that I usually just go straight to lining and coloring unless you'd like a check for lines/flats specifically or if I have a question about something. Please let me know what you'd like!
