Despite their clashing personalities, the Captain takes Belarouge’s presence jovially. As opposed to other crewmates who may resent Belarouge’s extreme extraversion, Kissinger appreciates their enthusiasm and team spirit. A little concerned for their head-first approach to danger, but it’s mostly in a fatherly way.
DAD BOYFRIEND KEPTIN. IF HE DIES, WE'RE ALL GOING DOWN TOGETHER. OKAY?! NOBODY CAN STOP ME. OH. and he bodyslammed me once.... that's... really sexi...
SHUT UP!! ITS NOT LIKE DURAS IS HIS BOYFRIEND OR ANYTHING... I STILL HAVE A CHANCE OKAY?!?!? WHAT THE HELL!! HAVE SOME FAITH IN ME!!
THINGS TO STEAL:
- everything this man owns. and then eventually this man. and he's going to stay that way.
They trust the captain, but secretly hope they aren’t making a mistake in trusting him.
Kissinger appreciates Valadez's energetic vibe, and trusts Valadez with the responsibility and hardships that come with piloting. Kissinger's a little concerned of Valadez's sometimes enigmatic mood, though seeing that it doesn't affect their job, Kissinger simply accepts it as Valadez's easily burnt-out yet energetic personality.
Nobody knows the Captain as well as Tannenbaum does. Tannenbaum has seen every shade of the Captain: his worst moments of despair, the most joyous moments of his life, as well as moments of anger and desperation. Despite their past, Kissinger still dotes him as one of the greatest people he knew. Outside of professionalism, Captain seem to be unable to come to terms of what Tannebaum had done, while at the same time constantly reminding Tannenbaum of it. Regardless, Kissinger trusts Tannenbaum above anyone else, and would confide in him when things go south. Kissinger keeps more secrets of Tannenbaum more than he holds secrets for himself.
Kissinger greatly enjoyed his company at first, but had never thought that he'd grow into him. The Captain admires him for his selfishness, and subconsciously enjoys Duras' soft-spoken voice. For some reason, Kissinger found it easy to confide with him, and feels at ease around his presence. While he'd never wear it, Kissinger appreciates Duras' aesthicism, and professionally, Kissinger is satisfied with his work ethic.
Kissinger's not sure how deeply he should take their relationship, however. Not because he lacked interest in Duras - but because he's afraid that what happened with his last lover would repeat again.
Conflicted? Crushing? He doesn't know how to explain this feeling, but he feels safe with Captain. Sirius can feel empowered and vulnerable at the same time when he's with Keanu. Having felt it once, Sirius now can't help but want more, even though he doesn't know what their relationship is like. He wants it to be something certain, but he's too afraid to overstep his boundaries and get on Captain's bad side.
"O Captain! My Captain!"
They've talked only briefly (as far as Rufus remembers), but he likes the Captain a good deal. Seems like a good sort, and friendly enough, even if he's weirdly stoic.
(Seems like the page with Roppongi on it was torn from her binder, all that's left is... One of his flyers?)
