so if some new characters pop up here, either permanent or for adoption...You Know Why

i finally came up with a justification for why arcinians have antennae in the first place other than "it looks cool": they're an extension of the gem used to focus arcanus and use it more safely, and having broken or outright missing antennae can cause an arcinian's spells to be more unstable

but now i need to update the refsheet HELL

me and a friend just had a minor kerfuffle over a fusion between one of my ocs and one of theirs because i wasn't comfortable with the design they made so im going to make a bit of a Rule to stop that from happening again:

unless you're SUPER close to me, please don't initiate a fusion concept involving one of my ocs. if you really want to see it, suggest the idea to me and i'll make it myself. i want to have some sort of control over what my ocs are involved with and i don't want them to be associated with something that makes me highly uncomfortable on a personal level.

@ that friend, also: you can leave the fusion up, it's fine. this rule doesn't apply retroactively, only for the future.

Moltenites are a species of fire sprite born from molten rock, glass or metal- or anything similar. Basically, if it's liquid and REALLY hot, it can form a Moltenite. Some form naturally, but they can be forced to form in an artificial environment if there is enough molten material for one to form a body from. Their bodies are mostly magma with an outer coating of rock/metal/glass, and the Magma Cores on their chest and wrists allow them to use fire magic.
