Is excruciatingly aware that he unsettles Hikari unintentionally. He does his best to not speak in a formal manner, as he knows that it triggers Hikari's flight response. The two have a strained relationship because of this, but it does not stop the two from the occasional small talk into bigger conversations.
Acts as the quietest person in the room when Mizuki is around him. Not that he bothers him or anything, but he is very offput by the way that Mizuki speaks, it's almost unnerving to him in a way, since it almost reminds him of his days when he was on the villains' side before being reformed to the heroes.
Surprisingly gets along with Hikari swimmingly! She is the sunshine to his moonlight and has gotten him to open up to her more than anyone else on the team-- aside from Yuzuki. She's very good in reading his facial cues, knowing when to give him time to cool down and recharge.
Gets along with Kokomi more than anyone else-- aside from Yuzuki. He's found himself opening up to her more than he thought he would, yet he does not regret it. He feels safe around her, even though her eccentric personality would say otherwise. Though, the two have forged a strong bond, often playing pranks on each other, or joking around.
Entertains herself by teasing Mizuki for his formal way of speaking, though she means it without any ill intentions. She knows when to stop, at least. However, ever since she found out that Ayumu has a big crush on Mizuki, it takes all her willpower to keep her mouth shut when interacting with him.
Finds it a little bothersome that Kokomi is always teasing him over the way he speaks, and in turn, this makes him painfully aware of his formal way of speaking. Though, he isn't one to ruin a friendship over something so menial, he at least enjoys her energy that she brings into a room!
Does not feel like she is on even ground with him, feels as if he is always antagonizing her purposely. Especially when Hikari calls her 'Whitey', which is purely based off her assigned color. However, she manages to keep a straight composure despite Hikari's ways of unintentionally setting her off.
Inadvertently gives Tsuki a hard time with the way he talks to her almost dismissively. Even though Tsuki has offered him many times to teach him proper manners, he turns his nose up at her, refusing the offer. He believes he is fine just the way he is, and he does not need someone like her to teach him how to act.
Finds it a blessing in disguise that she is able to get along with someone relatively sane and calm. She is not bothered by the fact that Mizuki can talk formally due to his occupation, because she is in fact used to it due to her family. She does admire his calm demeanor as well.
A sigh of relief for him whenever he talks to Tsuki, as she does not ask him to shut down his formal way of speaking, which he is working on controlling. Mizuki finds it relieving that he can speak to someone who is 'normal and well adjusted' in his words.
Adores spending time with Kokomi as she is the only other girl among her teammates, she is definitely the listener between the two and does not mind listening to Kokomi ramble about her latest show she's been watching, or a project she's been working on. Sometimes she'll even join in with her own feedback, or compliments!
LOVES spending time with Tsuki! Admires the fact that Tsuki is very attentive and gives feedback to her ideas and asks questions to further develop her projects. Often has a 'girls' night' with her to simply stay up late and talk about future endeavors. She's developed a close bond with Kokomi due to this, and can confide in her when it comes to her art and writing!
Feels as if he has to walk on eggshells around Hikari, even though he now poses no threat to Ayumu and the rest of the team, Ayumu still thinks he looks very scary, and he tries to be out of his way as much as possible. Quite literally physically distancing himself from him.
Wonders why Ayumu continues to distance himself from him. Though, he is used to the feeling, but won't pressure Ayumu to become close with him if he doesn't want to. However, Hikari tries to amend their friendship by small favors, and little gifts.
Has a little bit of a crush on Mizuki, but because of his horrible social skills and awkwardness, it is hard for him to approach him without freezing up or hesitating to strike up a conversation with him. This normally leads to Mizuki initiating interaction between the two of them.
Thinks that Ayumu is easily approachable, but tries to be wary around him as to not scare him off. He senses that Ayumu is easily thrown off by Mizuki's formal way of speaking, therefore he attempts to talk more casually and calmly around him.
Kind of reminds him of an even more eccentric Yuzuki in a way, but he does enjoy seeing her works. Whether it's something she's written, or something she has drawn, he admires her talent whatever it may be! Though he is painfully aware of her crush on Yuzuki as well.
Loves to show him her work! She knows that he will always commend her for her creativity. She still tries to convince him to be her beta reader, but is always turned down. She's very hyper-aware of his crush on Mizuki.
Enjoys sharing a room with her (in a figurative sense), he likes her calm demeanor and often asks to parallel play with her. Sitting in silence together is the best way that he likes to spend time with her.
Finds peace whenever Ayumu is around, she enjoys sitting in silence with him as a form of hanging out. They could be doing their own thing and minding their business, but knowing that Ayumu is bodily there brings peace to mind.
Appreciates that Hikari is grateful for him, but knows that it's something he would have done for anyone, though he does not say it to not break Hikari's spirits. Yuzuki is always checking on Hikari periodically.
Feels like he owes his life to him for saving him from impending, long-lasting damage. Hikari is the only one that calls Yuzuki by his actual name instead of the color they are associated with.
Always rolls his eyes whenever Mizuki plays stupid and lazy. He is fully aware that Mizuki can be serious when the situation calls for it, but it still rubs him wrong when he lazes about when there's a brand new day to be discovered!
Knows that his 'laziness' can piss off Yuzuki at times, and he uses it to his advantage to tease and pester him, even though Yuzuki knows that Mizuki can get serious if he really wants to.
Is super completely aware of Kokomi's crush on him, he pretends to be oblivious about it, as he is not looking for a relationship at the moment. He always feels like an old man standing next to her, especially when she uses slang and phrases he is unaware of.
Head-over-heels for Yuzuki! It's obviously so, as well. Knows that it is useless in the long run, but it does not stop her from imagining their future wedding, life, and growing old together. There was a point where she'd write fanfiction of herself and Yuzuki together.
Worries about her when she opts to sit out on various activities with the team, he doesn't peer pressure her into joining, but gently encourages her. He knows that she's grown up under difficult circumstances, so he won't pressure her to do something that she doesn't want to.
Envies how freely he can express himself and wishes she could do the same, though, little by little she is breaking out of her shell, by Yuzuki's influence of course! That is to say that he would never push her out of her comfort zone. (She does not have one)
He Knows he is too much for Ayumu, however it was at Ayumu's permission that he is allowed to be genuinely eccentric around him, though he was never given a reason why, he doesn't need one!
Feels as if Yuzuki's energy is a little bit too much for him. Though likes his presence anyway, sometimes he'll even look at him from afar, to study his social cues and how to not be socially awkward.
Her best friend in the entire world!!! Can literally trust hun with anything and everything, but wishes the two lived closer to one another 💔 #LongDistance however the two of them always plan trips to see one another since the train makes daily trips to and from where they both live!
