a group of islands that hosts a large number of deities who heavily influence the lives of the mortal residents. each island has its own government and they often seem to be at odds with each other, but they all have a very strong identity as aetheans. sailing and trade are king wherever you go in the country.

a small, perpetually cloudy and rainy kingdom. the people are fairly simple, but they're very prosperous because of their king. the country is very closed off from the affairs of any nearby kingdoms. they're isolated and they prefer to keep it that way.

a large country with a variety of climates; from a desert on one side to a mountainous region with lush forests on the other. the government is very feudal, with lords and nobles ruling cities and small areas throughout the country. it has a close relationship with a small neighboring country, and there is much overlap between them at the borders.

a typical fairy tale kingdom. flowers bloom nearly all year round, and the people are very peaceful and welcoming. hardships seem few and far between, at least near the capital.

a very large, but bleak and desolate country. the ruling class has always been warlike, annexing many smaller countries; hence the size and diversity of climates. it's entirely overrun with vampires of all kinds, and the poor humans there live in fear. recently, it's been taken over by a powerful vampire, only adding to the citizens' fear.
