Takes place in... well, Miitopia! A set of floating islands in the middle of space. (The name usually refers to the big one in the middle but sometimes people use the name for the whole set of islands. It's confusing.)

& this place sits in the center - or near the center - of the universe, & so it's sort of magneted lost pieces from the different worlds as time went by. As a result, all sorts of species & things can be found here - anything you can imagine, it's probably there - a converging point where everything in the universe intersects, in other words.
