amongst my many ocs, i have some that have incredibly dark backstories
an example would be zero, an oc i created not too long ago (i think i made him like a month ago)
he used to be a waiter at a casino, his job was to serve drinks
he had an older sister named may who had severe lung cancer
may had frequent trips to the hospital until she had to stay there because her lungs were getting weak to the point of her being unable to speak
may died overnight somewhere in the month of june
zero nearly quit his job because of this. he ended up skipping some work days to grieve for his loss
one day, zero decided that life wasn't important without may, somebody he had looked up to ever since he was born into the world
and then he hung himself. he missed may, he missed how things used to be. he wanted his sister back. but sadly, the world doesn't work like this
the neighbor next door to where zero and may lived called the police, only to figure out that zero had killed himself instead of being killed by somebody else
the neighbor thought that zero was murdered because the poor guy would tell them about his troubles at work
the patrons at the casino used to affectionately tease zero, and that was it
except for the time that one of the patrons punched zero in the fucking face because she didn't receive any payments from him. the woman also used to taunt zero about his feminine appearance and used to steal things from him
one day at work, zero decided to wear a skirt to piss off the woman who hit him. the woman screamed at zero, called him a transphobic slur, and then issued a restraining order against him. the restraining order was denied though lol. the other patrons thought zero looked pretty, and the karen-ass looking woman just seethed in the corner, sobbing that her dream of sending zero to jail would never come true
the neighbor then remembered that zero's sister died recently, and felt guilty for calling the police
the patrons set up a little "in memory of zero" space at the casino
the karen-looking ass woman tried to destroy the "in memory of zero" space, but she failed. she was kicked out by the owners of the casino and now she works at Mcdonalds as punishment for her crimes.
may and zero got transported to this vaporwave-looking ass place when they died, and that's where they live now.
one time may asked how zero died and zero replied with "no"
so uhh yeah i hope you enjoyed this effortless backstory i made, sorry if it's overly edgy or too comedic, i suck ass at writing backstories lmao
here's some more info about may:
-She was 22 before she died, and would have turned 23 if she didn't die
-She's transfeminine. She figured this out when she was 15. she doesn't know how or why, she just liked being called a girl. And it made her happy. her parents even made a little shirt that says "i'm girl. u opinion invalidated."
-she's a gamer
-I based her on the song "Beach Walk" by Whitewoods.
-She has this summer dress she used to constantly wear when she was younger. she still wears it sometimes though
-Both her and zero can enter the human realm. both of them are technically ghosts, but at the same time, they aren't. the two of them stand out because of their pitch-white skin tone.
-She cried when she found out that Zero had his own little dedicated "in memory" zone at the casino.
also fun fact on how zero and may are visible: they're some kind of corporeal spirit that can switch between the dimension they reside in and the human world. Zero's friends at the casino rejoiced upon seeing him again. his face is misshapen and weird but that doesn't stop him from having friends

i've had this idea in my head for a while now
also like in this au, alice replaces noelle and sumireko replaces berdly lmao
i originally wanted marisa to replace kris but since reimu is the protag of every touhou game i made her kris instead
genji (the turtle from touhou 2) might replace toriel but i don't know any other character that shares a parental bond with reimu
yukari or maybe kasen??
yeah I'll probably go with kasen since she's probably the best pick for a toriel replacement
no maybe I'll pick yukari since like she can basically gap reimu to highschool
for comedic purposes (and staying true to the deltarune game itself), i made a lot of the touhou girls highschoolers (it fit sumireko because she's a highschooler in the original games)
and sanae in this au isn't from the dark world or anything, she's just a normal girl who goes to highschool with her best friends reimu and marisa
she also might be like a sort of replacement for monster kid or snowdrake??? idk man
our puppy does this thing where she puts up her ears whenever she's excited or mildly upset

why would you ever rethink having ADHD? it's not so bad after you get used to it. i don't see why people would want to get rid of their ADHD. sure, it kinda makes it hard to focus, but it's fine other than that. *sigh* there are some people who either want ADHD or don't want it at all. I've seen people actively search for ways to get ADHD. it doesn't work that way, lemme tell you that. it's something you are born with, it's not like a disease that can be cured with some medicine. however, you CAN slow ADHD down with certain vitamins. it doesn't get rid of ADHD, but it helps people who have it focus a lot more. I've been diagnosed with ADHD ever since I was born. I've had to live with it my entire life, and seeing people trying to get rid of it makes me a little upset. remember, just because you have a mental condition or a mental illness doesn't make you a bad person, it just makes you different from other people. trying to fake a mental condition isn't smart either, you could just be yourself instead of wanting to have something that makes your life harder. sometimes people want to be different, and sometimes people like the way they are. i like the way i am, and i'm not going to change that.
