Thinkin bout Ballius today and how in his younger years when he was busy fucking up the population and local wildlife of the planet Vox (and himself, to a lesser extent) he probably would have absolutely done monologues along the lines of "You believe you know loss? You cannot even begin to conceive of the things that I have lost." etc. etc.

But current Ballius has spent 80 fuckin years mortal and has learned that letting that angsty garbage see the light of day is both gauche and unnecessary (not to mention too revealing about his internal workings).
