Secondly, I'd like to potentially plot/headcanon with other Appos! 
I have Koílos, a grumpy mercenary of sorts, and would love to establish some relationships or encounters with other Appo! I mean, I'm open to other species too, but for the sake of this bulletin, Appos 8') I'm also just curious to read about other peoples' OCs and see how they've developed them. Please note: I am not necessarily looking to PAIR Koílos! I prefer to let things happen naturally, so for now I'm just looking for platonic relationships (or enemies/non-platonic for that matter!). I'm also not looking to RP, just headcanon/plot together :>

for headcanon/plot sake, i have Rifaien (http://toyhou.se/241755.rifaien) aside from what's on his profile-- he's high energy, a bit wild, and lacking in that self preservation instinct. i've always sorta thought of him as a gladiator type, fighting in the ring for money, but i've also considered mercenary work. he can basically be found anywhere, doing anything that might get him involved in a fight. despite this, he's mostly got a good streak, and though his temperament is fiery he knows well enough how to get along with anyone who makes an effort to get along with him.

I like the sound of him a lot! It seems like him and Ko have a bit in common, at least as far as their penchant for fighting and reckless behavior goes 8') The only difference, I think, is that Ko is well beyond the point of good. He's been pretty thoroughly corrupted by his magic and it just keeps getting worse. But perhaps their involvement in combat could be an excuse for their crossing paths somehow?

i think so! rifaien is a very in-your-face kinda guy so once you got him, he sticks like glue 8'| quite annoying. he's immediately at the spot if he hears he can get to fight though, so it's very likely they could meet that way. he's less excited about selling his services as an enchanter but he can do most anything with a huge variety of properties (he had to practice a lot for his own self-centered needs ahaha) and people generally know to ask for him if they really need something done so that's also a possibility! i don't know if he really cares about 'justice', more so than just 'be good to others if they're good to you' so it's kind of a wonder how he might react to Ko! it's a good excuse for me to flesh him out a bit more <:3c

Sounds like a sweet character 8') Ko is kind of a mix between a hitman and a hunter--he doesn't actively instigate fights or seek out random violence, but does enjoy being 'challenged' by difficult targets he's being hired to take out. I'm not sure if Rifaien would ever have a target on his back? Otherwise, it might just be happenstance, or something along the lines of knowing each other in the past (I haven't quite worked out Ko's entire history so there's room to grow there!). But he's all around not an overly sociable guy 8'DD So it will definitely be interesting to see how they'd interact LOL

sorry for the late reply, everything happened so much and i got swept away ___@ I can't think of why Rifaien would be targeted, but he does like to climb to the tops of whatever food chains he can find so I wouldn't be surprised if he had any bitter ex-rivals he defeated. Knowing/meeting each other in past or current work could totally work out too! I don't usually commit to character backstories until I get good opportunities to develop them (like headcanon jams with other peeps hehe) so I've got tons of free space for it too!
