NEWS!

Hello souls! I (fuuwaku) have a small announcement to make regarding the future of Yumi-Pops as an species.

Unfortunately due to many hurdles and troubles I’ve been experiencing in my own life, by November, I will be ceasing all and any closed species activities with Yumi-pops.

This comes after very long and heavy consideration and I will be willing to answer any and all questions you may have!!! I want to thank you for all the support over the years and I want to say that this will NOT be the end of Yumi-Pops in general, it is the end of the closed species.

I think the closure of the species would be more beneficial for me to work on its lore and art as I want to make it bigger beyond a closed species. I’ve realized that it continuing to be a closed species was no longer within my vision. And it is already a ton of work to handle a closed species with only so little active mods.

Q&A ABOUT THIS!

What will happen once the species close?
The masterlist will cease further updates, the species Discord will go inactive / close, everything to do with the closed species part of Yumi-Pops will no longer be active.
I have an MYO, now that you guys are closing... What do i do with it?
If you're still interested in it at the very least being on a masterlist so you can say you were there before it all went down, you can go ahead and still use it for approval so we can upload it!
I recently traded / paid for an MYO. Can I ask for a refund / receive compensation?
It all depends where / who you receive it from, any MYOs that were sold by Yumi-Pops in general as per the TOS has never been refundable. If you receive an MYO from a 3rd party, it is up to them on whether or not they wish to refund you.
Will I be able to create Yumi-Pops after the species closes?
Go right ahead with or without an MYO, my greatest joy in the species was seeing all the stuff you guys would do with lore I wrote and the species traits.
Will I be able to create Yumipop adopts after the species closes?
You can but I really do not recommend advertising them as official yumipops as we don't want people to get confused with thinking its still active.
Why not transfer ownership? Why not get more mods?
I do not want a new owner to take the species and what I made with its lore, only to mix it all up. The species is already very dear to me and I would not be comfortable with a whole new cast of NPCs and lore that was nothing like my intention.

Not only that, as I said at the beginning of this note: I have plans with Yumi-Pops that are beyond a closed species. The species closing would benefit it into making it something bigger and better.

I simply do not want to continue with the hurdle of managing a species all by myself when I am already having MAJOR troubles with my own life, mods can be very hard to find: And having them be active can be hard as well as we all have our own lives.
Will you still be an owner for Angemos?
I will continue being an owner for Angemos. We have a very big and active mod team over there and I think I can calmly work on lore and what I want to work on in terms of artwork without worrying too much other than owner duties.
You said you're working on something further for Yumi-Pops beyond closed species and thats why you're closing it... Why not keep running the species and work on that big thing?
I'm not even sure if I'll even keep the name Yumi-Pops as a title for what I'm working on... Again, I want to leave the concept of this story being apart of a closed species behind.
What are you working on for Yumi-Pops after it closes?
Once it closes, I will reveal what I'm working on.

What about my free MYO extensions?
If you received a free expirable MYO slot, you are automatically extended until November to finish your MYO. No more after that because it simply just won't be uploaded to the masterlist.
Will Yumi-Pops still be involved in Angemo lore? Will Angemo Yumi-Pop CBs still be created officially?
Yes.
Will there be a final event?
There will be!

Would putting the MYO on the Masterlist still count today since it's November first or not anymore?

Yes, you may put them until then!
MYO slots will be unavailable after the species closes, meaning they are untransferrable by any means

I hope I can finish mine today, the extension was really needed for me. Thank you for that ! Also thank you for making such a lovely species, although I've only been here short B,)

I am looking forward to what you come up with for them as a non closed species. I hope the TH World stays up as well as I love how it looks.
