While the snowscape flickers on and off with bustling excitement with prospecting time off and groans from upcoming exams, the annual rhythm of the academia has returned.

After a solid month of few stressed all-nighters and the dread of new material on the horizon, Squeaky Rat slowly has gotten accustomed to life at school. There’s definitely something off… but they can’t quit pin it down- say for the weary shuffling of their trusty friends Chad Miller, Douglas McFarlin, and Stephen Dankworth. Regardless, strange acquisitions are adaptable, unless it’s the mystery meat at the cafeteria…

While exams are just around the corner Squeaky Rat finds themselves at their desk during a free period, settling in as the bell rings for class to start. Mingling is heard just behind them, rumors of Valentine’s proposals and more sinister tales of separation to be together even in the afterlife.

The call to chapel for midday announcements is paused for the honorable present of priest Erik- known in riches of a wealthy mind and spirit. His soft spoken words leave everyone excited for the upcoming traditions of St. Valentine’s Day, however that doesn’t mean his reference marriage liturgy in the Book of Common Prayer left Sqeaky Rat comforted from previous rumors.

Regardless as Erik reiterates- the schools annual St. Valentine's Ball is just around the corner, so love is in the air as students prepare for such excitement !!
