I just cannot imagine ever charging back on any of the adopts I’ve bought 😿 and $3k at that?? That’s actually insane. I saw that they’re also selling designs they charged back for?? Like what😭 you cannot get the money you paid for an adopt back AND resell that same adopt, it’s no longer yours?! I feel so sorry for everyone that got scammed, I myself have bad spending habits and have some regrets but that would never excuse doing something like that (idk full context but I skimmed)

THIS !! PLEASE !! if they truly regretted a purchase i fail to see why they couldnt have just asked for a damned refund instead of trying to pawn off the characters after they had gotten the chargeback

It’s been like 18 hours since it’s happened and they’ve seemed more into finding people to defend them and trading/selling ocs secretly instead of fixing the actual problem. I’ve had an issue with a charge back in the past (not from them) and it’s easy to resolve. Idk why they’re taking so much time on this (might be a bit excusable bc of their mom) but still doesn’t add up a lot idk, I’ve been keeping my whole opinion abt this situation to myself but the stuff theyre doing def just sounds like a spending addiction gone wrong (especially knowing they were in 8k debt while spending 3k in Commissions after their rant abt the debt)

goddd the part where they were RESELLING shit they chargebacked really had me at a loss of words - not only were the original designers of the character scammed but the people who unknowingly got roped into dropping cash on a character they arent even meant to be owning . it is Horrible and such a confusing situation to be stuck in

when i heard that , it sounded almost more of like them trying to rip people off by reselling designs (for more than they were even worth im pretty sure) and then receiving the chargebacks in turn. but obviously this is just how it looks like to me i ofc dont know what their intentions were. in hindsight this bulletin comes off as a little gossipy but god it is frustrating to hear about artists getting screwed over like this -- they really need to be held accountable

Yup I see this situation as frustrating as you do and from what I’ve seen as long as we don’t harass them or do anything harmful to them we are fine voicing our opinions on this, and so far it’s just looking super bad for them. Nothing from what they’re saying and their friend defending them adds up with their actions at all. And yes they did resell a design $50 more than its Original worth and never told nor refunded that $50 to the person they oversold it to . They’re really defensive and seem to care abt the psa’s more than returning the money back to the artists
