Saying Goodbye to a wonderful grandmom

As much as I tried to ready myself for it, you never really do.

She passed in the company of my sister and I. I know she wanted to be with her grandkids and I'm glad I at least was able to say goodbye.

Rest in peace, nanny. You were a perfect grandmom. You had a charming personality and a golden heart. You loved your cats and always put your grandchildren and family first.

You're with grandad and father now. I believe you'll be by our side forever.
