We are back, after a month's break! Not much happened during summer either as I had art to do elsewhere, but we still have some news from the farm:
- Our summer was full of training, mostly! LR Thunderstorm was caught in the act of lunging, while Egyptian Mau and Compass Morale are running quite nicely under saddle. We hope the batch of them will be ready for their 2-year-old debut in racing soon.
- Our newest baby LR Stupid Cupid is 3 months old and seems to have quite a spirit we are hoping to see in races in a few years!
- News from the SDE Spring Zen Show, where Hope, Red King, Martha and Nova have won 1st place in pas de deux dressage! Congratulations to them!
Notable results from Lovelyta Ranch Kennels, which wasn't idle either:
- Keyes won reserve Best of Breed in the Saratoga Falls No-Effort RNG Sept 2021, as well as CD title in obedience and TDX title in tracking!
- She also won junior Winner's Bitch, Best of Breed and Group Winner in the W2 [FCI] No Effort RNG Show. She's having an incredible start to her career and we are very proud of her, and thankful to her breeder.
- Spotty won junior Winner's Dog and Best of Opposite Sex in the W2 [FCI] No Effort RNG Show, making LRK nicely represented in the german shepherd dog winner's ring!
For autumn I hope to be able to do some more, and show more of the daily life of LR. Trying not to focus on competitions too much but also take part in some, which is a tricky balance but needs to be figured out so I don't get burnt out. The 2-year-old tbs surely need a debut race, and we still have a dog breeding to conclude where Diana is supposed to have her first litter! It will be quit exciting to see the first LRK-Equipped babies.
