Ok, I'll be honest. When I first decide to hide everything and fix things up, I thought it would take maybe a week max. Obviously, that did not happen... as it took 2 months. It ended up being more work than I expected and, of course, I procrastinated a lot more than I should have. But that doesn't matter now, because I finally finished them!

So, what all did I do?

1. Tidied shit up.

Honestly, I hated editing my own codes. It was hard to find stuff and everything felt cluttered. So, the main thing I wanted to do with every single template was to pretty much clean them up. I added spacing between elements and added comments to help guide you where things are and where things should be added. This took the most time to do because I had to go through every single line of code of every single template and decide how I wanted to space them and how they should look. It was tedious. I wanted to cry sometimes. But it was worth it. And I help it proves helpful to those that use the templates.

2. A few minor changes to the templates.

I added new areas to some profiles, some got new spots for images, etc etc etc. Also, I made sure to add an "Artist Credit" spot for each image on the template since I think it's important for people to know who drew the art you are using on your profile. Of course, they could go into the character's gallery and find the credit there, but having it on the profile itself makes it much easier to see.

3. Some profiles are still hidden.

Why? Because they're ugly. I hate them. But I'm a hoarder and hate deleting stuff. So, instead, I want to pretty much completely change them until they look better. This will take more time, however, so these profiles are still hidden.

In case anyone wants to know which templates are hidden and being worked on: Boxed, Colorful, Document, Sectioned, Simple and Sliced.

4. Made a tutorial page

There's only 3 tutorials that I made so far, but I will probably add more later on. They are based on what I get asked for help with most of the time, and so I figured I might as well make something I can just link people to if they come to me asking for help on these 3 things.

5. Every profile has a custom color version.

I get so many!!!! questions about changing colors of my templates. But I've always been too lazy to make sure every template have a custom color version. Not anymore tho! Now each profile is either customizable by default or has a customizable version.

6. Added 2 new templates: Dropdown Profile and Gradient Use Profile

I say they're "new" but actually, they've been sitting collecting dust for a long time lmao. But they're finally available! And I also got ideas for new templates so hopefully I will find the motivation to make those soon.

I have kind of been running away from toyhou.se for a long while. I originally had a lot fun creating the templates and enjoyed seeing other people using them. But, it felt overwhelming when it came to actually interacting with people and answering people's questions and everything. However, I think I have improved on my anxiety towards social interaction this past year... so I'm hoping I can actually become active now and talk with people here.

AKA, I swear I will start replying to my inbox.

Honestly I think you were the first coder I discovered on toyhou.se, and I really loved your stuff!
It made me learn how to use codes, [somewhat] understand them, and to pretty much brighten up my profiles for my ocs!
Thank you for working so hard for the community!
