Hi everyone! I'm sorry if this gets kinda rambly; I've been meaning to post an update for a while, but didn't exactly know how to word it, or what exactly to say;;
I want to apologize for the inactivity these past few months. Without getting into too much detail, I was dealing with some pretty not-great-stuff these past few months, and I just didn't have any energy or motivation to do much of anything creative here for a long time. For that, I apologize, and I apologize if anyone was worried about me!
Hopefully, the whole situation seems to be wrapping up finally, or at least becoming more safe, so I'm in a better place and state now than I have been in months. Still not perfect, still not great, but better I think.
So that's the (somewhat) good news!
The (somewhat) bad news is: I've made the decision to not........really be active on TH anymore.
I'll still be hosting characters and such on here, but I will not be interacting on the forums or anything like that except for friends and such. In the year and a half I've been on the site, I've made amazing friendships here and have gained so much confidence in my characters, my art, and my stories, and for that I am IMMENSELY grateful.
However, the state of the community on this site is...not what it was when I signed up. There were issues when I joined, of course, but now there's just so much outright nastiness on the forums and among the community that I just...don't feel motivated to try to participate in it anymore. It's a hard and disappointing decision, but it's one I have to make. TH's community, by and large, just isn't...welcoming anymore.
That being said, my Discord is always available for request for people I've come to be friends with, and I am plenty active on other websites and social media, and if you want to chat with me or follow any of these, please absolutely feel free to!

Totally understandable. I'm very close to quitting the forums myself as the TH admins just... refuse to do anything to regulate the site. The people here are so vicious.

To be honest the community is getting a lot worse and I really don't blame you for being inactive- but I'm glad that the IRL issues are getting better, and I understand the inactivity! Sorry that I'm kinda coming out from the blue, but anyways I hope everything's going good for you!

ahhhhhh thank you Rads!!!!!! yeah, it's just not a place that's good for me anymore by and large, which is super unfortunate since this site ended up being a place of immense growth for me;; But c'est la vie I guess! ; v;
