Felicci looked at the little blue slip of paper, strung on gold ribbon, and thought hard. A wish was a serious thing... but truly, he knew already what he wanted.

As he wrote, thoughts of all the hardships of the past swam around his head. He knew he could never make them disappear, never erase them from his past, and wouldn't dream of trying to do so. He had found in the course of his life that the best way of escaping the sadness that once was, was to dream of something better.

"I wish to find my happy ending."

He watched the paper, now delicately tied to the tree, twist and flutter in the breeze. With a sigh both heavy and hopeful, he turned away and slipped back through the solitude of the sacred wilderness.

The wish became the heart of a doll made of rubber, cloth, and clay.

An ending is the saddest part. So dear visitor, I hope you find a song so pleasant that you never thought it could exist. I hope you can enjoy a hot shower on a quiet evening. I hope you lose yourself in a book, and find words that speak to the deepest part your heart. And when you need it most, that a sound, a scent, or touch leads you from the dark to remind you of the better days ahead. I hope you have many days ahead.

(OOC: Pardon the ping, reformatting. Also glad you like the doll :3)
