personally I have been influenced by oriental shows and media since I was little and always found it fascinating I don't intend to use it as an "aesthetic" but rather as a way to learn and expand my knowledge in such I'm not an expert myself but I think cultural appropriation is not about perfection but about respect and a willingness to learn
I find Japanese culture to be beautiful from an artistic perspective, and it's exciting to open your mind in learning something new when approaching with respect ^-^
