I had some ideas for adding these cuties to my own Sci-Fi Cyberpunk Space Opera that I think veiwers, and you may enjoy!
Airplane Dragons, or AeroDrakes are a form of synthetic life created pre-collapse, but during the early years of the Commonwealth Civil War that wracked the 250Lyr radius of human space, as autonomous Civilian and Military logistic equipment. Usually designed for transport, some models/species began to adapt to their new homeworld's environment, alongside their fallen human makers, creating combat forms, logistics forms, and industrial forms to assist and live symbiotically with humans and other human-adjacent servitor species, such as the many strains of Abhumans, Androids, and Machine Armors. AeroDrakes are biomechanical, capable of being both built and bred, as long as one has the material components and proper positron brains to build one, or two consenting AeroDrake parents. They're relatively peaceful, even the Combat forms being quite calm and docile, only really becoming aggressive when heavily provoked.
