It really is, and honestly, it's also... kinda pathetic? Like, it's still serious because that's hundreds of dollars that people are being scammed out of and in at least one case it's escalated to stalking, but at the end of the day, the person behind this is a 16(ish)-year-old who's basically shitting her own metaphorical bed. She's setting herself up to be sued hardcore for theft/defamation/etc, all over some anime cats. (Hell, her impersonation of us began when we learned about her scamming and refused to give her more codes! That was literally all that happened!)

And that's IF some cringe site looking for a laugh doesn't get their hands on her first. The more she does this, the more eyes will fall on her, and she's absolutely inept at basic Internet safety. People have already tracked down her parents' phone number, I don't think it would take long for them to get her address.

Some kids are just bafflingly full of themselves. (And some parents are just really fucking bad at teaching their kids that the world will eat you if you don't get your act together.)

omg. Her parents' phone number?? "I'm telling on you! Your mom is gonna know all about this!!"

LMAO, it's surreal, isn't it?

From what I heard, they did talk to her dad and he restricted her Internet access for a week, and then she got right back to it. Some parents just suck at parenting. Or maybe hers just suck at tech? Who knows.

wait-- she has a credit card? at 16????

No idea, tbh. She has a PayPal, at least.
