Hellooo, it's nice to hear from you again! it's been a while since I used pencils for coloring xD lately I've been using alcohol markers for most of my drawings but for pencil coloring, one tip I always come back to is to work by layering, start with a light base, and build up using slightly different colors for highlights and shadows and blending with a white pencil can help smooth things out! usually when doing gradients and such it's a little basic but hope it helps!
