I just found an old unfinished comic!!
I was thinking about your comment, and I was convinced I had tried to make a comic before, but I couldn't find it,, I had to dig through a lot of folders lol but I wanted to share them with you!
This comic was meant to be printed as free samples for a Comic Con I participated in years ago, but I never got around to releasing it

It's just a fun, silly comic about Koma enjoying all the food in the city xD

There's even an older one that was supposed to be a whole manga chapter on the prologue of Xin's backstory, thing is I had a deadline and ended up dropping it because I knew I wasn't going to finish on time

The only thing missing in them is the dialogue, can you tell I'm not very good at it haha
But I'm probably going to give it another go to comics after all :D

I've seen the comic in the first picture but I've never seen the second one, and it's enough to entertain me with how you tell the story and coupled with your beautiful art, it makes me happy to see it! haha :D

well even though it's not that perfect but this is enough to start a story and if you keep trying to develop it again this will be a story that attracts people's attention especially with your art style! and actually making a comic doesn't always have to be perfect, just an interesting, unique and different story is enough to make people curious and interested in continuing to read the comic, plus a good art style, of course.

If you want to try making comics, I recommend you learn from Japanese mangaka and look for references on various platform sources.

And thank you for sharing your work Sensei! And sorry for the looong text ehe

Oh really? I completely forgot about it because I didn't remember posting it
But now that you mention it, I thought I shared a preview of the second comic somewhere,, maybe I got them mixed up xD

Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate your recommendations ^^

thats actually so relatable. I find that realistic dialogue is really hard, especially for a shut in with practically no social experience. It's def a big factor to why I would rather show and not tell..
