I never understood why when people trade characters their money value is just gone, I can see why that makes sense for gifted characters, cause you got them for free, but trading characters you would (if youre smart,) trade equal value
It a perfect world it would be fine the issue is a lot of designs are not traded for equal value but for a personal aesthetic. For example I could sell an adopt for $25 then someone trades it for a design worth $50. The original design has nothing added to it but a lot of people would then turn around and sell it for the $50 value. This is we’re issues arise.
I personally have traded characters I had bought for $45-$50 dollars for a character with a way lower value just because I like the design.
